New woven pumpkins,new season of inspiration🍂
Happy and productive week, my dear knitting friends. I hope you are all in good health and spirits.
Just like last year, I knitted new pumpkins this year too. I couldn't let the season pass without repeating an experience I enjoyed so much. Last year I made them in classic colors: some with jute and others with orange yarn that I loved for its texture. But this time I decided to try something different, play a little more with colors, and let myself be carried away by the inspiration of the moment. 🎃🍂

Al igual que el año pasado, este también tejí nuevas calabazas. No podía dejar pasar la temporada, sin repetir esa experiencia que tanto disfruté. El año pasado las hice en tonos clásicos: algunas con yute y otras con un hilo de color naranja que me encantó por su textura. Pero esta vez decidí probar algo diferente, jugar un poco más con los colores y dejarme llevar por la inspiración del momento. 🎃🍂

I chose an ecru shade and a brick color that look beautiful together. I loved how they complement each other, how that soft, warm contrast gives them a natural, elegant look. Every stitch was pure pleasure. I love knitting the single crochet stitch that is the star of this fabric, because you can knit it almost by memory, with a rhythm and a back-and-forth motion that feels very relaxing. 🧶🎃
Shaping them is another part that I really enjoy. It's the moment when creativity kicks in: playing with the folds, adjusting the filling, giving them that final touch that makes them look real, with their irregular curves and rustic charm, and the best thing is that each one ends up being different, and I love that. 🍂🎃
Seeing them finished fills me with satisfaction. They are small works knitted with love, with the intention of celebrating this season and filling every corner with that autumnal spirit that I love so much. And like every year, I am left with that satisfying feeling of having created something beautiful with my own hands.🍂🧶

Elegí un tono crudo y otro color ladrillo que, juntos, se ven preciosos. Me encantó cómo se complementan, cómo ese contraste suave y cálido les da un aire natural y elegante. Cada puntada fue puro placer. Me encanta tejer el punto bajo que es el protagonista de este tejido, porque se teje casi de memoria, con ritmo y con el vaivén que se siente muy relajante. 🧶🎃
Darles forma es otra parte que disfruto muchísimo. Es el momento en que la creatividad se activa: jugar con los pliegues, ajustar el relleno, darles ese toque final que las hace parecer reales, con sus curvas irregulares y su encanto rústico, y lo mejor es que cada una termina siendo distinta, y eso me encanta. 🍂🎃
Verlas terminadas me llena de satisfacción. Son pequeñas obras tejidas con cariño, con la intención de celebrar esta época y llenar los rincones con ese espíritu otoñal que tanto me gusta. Y como cada año, me quedo con esa sensación tan satisfactoria de haber creado algo bonito con mis manos.🍂🧶
