Grannys miniatures for beautiful earrings

Greetings and blessings, my dear friends of the needles. I hope you are very well with health and well being and continue the days of recollection, rest, inspiration and creativity.

During these days of Holy Week, since we are not going on a trip, what I most want to do is knit or embroider. This time I wanted to try something different: I decided to knit with skeins of embroidery threads. It occurred to me to make some tendrils like the ones I made for my daughter some time ago, and the idea really excited me. So I got down to work and for this I knitted some mini grannys in two tones that I love: wine and pink. The combination turned out delicate, harmonious, and with a touch of personality that made me smile as soon as I saw them finished.

En estos días de Semana Santa como no salimos de viaje, lo que más quiero hacer es tejer o bordar. Esta vez quise probar algo diferente: decidí tejer con madejas de hilos de bordar. Se me ocurrió hacer unos zarcillos como los que le hice a mi hija hace un tiempo, y la idea me emocionó mucho. Así que me puse manos a la obra y para ello tejí unos mini grannys en dos tonos que me encantan: vino y rosado. La combinación resultó delicada, armoniosa, y con un toque de personalidad que me hizo sonreír apenas los vi terminados.

The result was so cute that I couldn't help but imagine wearing them or giving them as a gift to someone special. To complete them, I put an African earring hook on them because I find them comfortable and they give them a handmade and elegant look at the same time. What do you think? Do you like them? I put them in a stamped cardboard and put them in a little bag to display them without damaging them.

I'm still looking for more ideas and projects to knit or embroider in these days of pause and reflexion, and enjoy the time calmly. For now, I am working on a cross stitch embroidery that I will show you soon.

El resultado fue tan lindo que no pude evitar imaginarme usándolos o regalándolos a alguien especial. Para completarlos, les coloqué un gancho para aretes del tipo africano porque que me parecen cómodos y le dan un aire artesanal y elegante al mismo tiempo. ¿Qué les parece? ¿Les gustan? Los puse en un cartoncito estampado y los metí en una bolsita para mostrarlos sin que se estropeen.

Sigo buscando más ideas y proyectos para tejer o bordar en estos días de pausa y reflexión, y disfrutar el tiempo con calma. Por ahora, tengo entre manos un bordado en punto de cruz que pronto les mostraré.
