LOH 267 // My Holiday Favourite

Thinking about the holiday season is always amazing because there are lots of things to do during that period even though it also comes with a lot of work still it's amazing, but the first thing that comes to mind when the holiday is approaching is not just about the gifts, t or even the festive music, though all of these are certainly add to the magic but My favorite thing to enjoy during this time of year is far more than that.

You know that sense of intentional togetherness that seems to settle over everything like a warm blanket. It’s the rare moment when people collectively pause the rush of daily life and make space for connection, reflection, and simple joy. Everybody have been busy from the beginning of the year and barely see each other, that period creates togetherness for us and we use that time to connect.

For me, this happens most vividly around the dinner time. There’s something incredibly special and amazing about gathering with family and friends to share a meal that everyone contributed to in some way. The kitchen becomes the heart of the celebration, it will not be pot for two or three people, it will be pot for the family, the simmering of the pots, ovens warming, laughter filling the air as stories are traded over chopping boards and mixing bowls. Even the smallest traditions, like a favorite dessert or an old recipe that only comes out once a year carry an emotional weight that makes the season feel grounded and meaningful.

This is not just about the food itself, but the feeling that the meal symbolizes, love and togetherness. It’s a reminder that no matter how busy or distant life becomes, we can always return to moments of connection. Holiday gatherings give us permission to slow down, to be present, and to appreciate the people who are part of our lives. In a world that often prioritizes productivity and constant motion, this intentional pause feels like a gift in itself that can not be buy will money.

Ultimately, my favorite thing about the holiday season is how it brings out the best in us, generosity, warmth, gratitude, and connection. Everybody will be happy, there won't be different between who have and who does not have, we make time for one another, we reflect on what truly matters. And we create memories that carry us through the rest of the year. That spirit of togetherness is something I cherish deeply, and it’s why the holidays remain one of my favorite times to slow down, reconnect, and simply enjoy being present with the people I love, which is more than a gift.
