Small pleasures that make me happy
Greetings, my dear Ladies of Hive. Happy Saturday, I hope you are doing very well with abundant health and well-being.
Today I want to share my participation in the #247 edition of the contest to which we are invited, weekly, by the Ladies of Hive. On this occasion, I will give answers to the questions proposed by our friend @merit.ahamap for this week:

Regarding the first question, definitely, my most recent favorite activity is knitting. I found in knitting a haven of peace, an intimate space that allows me to disconnect from the noise of everyday life. I love the moment of calm and tranquility that I get from shaping a special design with the yarn in my hands. It is as if each stitch, each turn, is also a way to put my thoughts in order, to let go of my worries and concentrate only on the here and now. It excites me to think about what I can create, the colors I can combine and how an idea comes to life little by little.

Hoy quiero compartir mi participación en la edición #247 del concurso al que nos invitan, semanalmente, las Damas de Hive. En esta ocasión, daré respuesta a las preguntas que nos ha propuesto la amiga @merit.ahamapara esta semana:
1️⃣ ¿Cuál es tu actividad favorita más reciente?
2️⃣ ¿Tienes alguna nueva compra o plan que hayas querido conseguir o lograr? ¡Compártelo con nosotros!
Con respecto a la primera pregunta, definitivamente, mi actividad favorita más reciente es tejer. Encontré en el tejido un refugio de paz, un espacio íntimo que me permite desconectarme del ruido del día a día. Amo el momento de calma y tranquilidad que me da ir dando forma a un diseño especial con el hilo entre mis manos. Es como si cada punto, cada vuelta, fuera también una forma de ordenar mis pensamientos, de soltar preocupaciones y concentrarme solo en el aquí y el ahora. Me emociona pensar en lo que puedo crear, en los colores que puedo combinar y en cómo una idea va cobrando vida poco a poco.
To answer the second question, I am especially excited about a purchase I recently made. For a long time I had been thinking about getting a fabric blocker, something that for those of us who knit represents a very useful tool to give the perfect finish to our pieces. Finally, I decided to order it and I bought it through Temu, a platform where I had never ordered before, so everything is new to me. Although it hasn't arrived yet, I'm a little anxious to receive it. My excitement is growing, and I feel like it's almost here, I'm so happy! I can't wait to wear it for the first time and see how it improves the final result of my fabrics.
These are simple but meaningful moments that remind me how beautiful it is to enjoy what you do, to keep learning and to give yourself small pleasures that feed the soul.
Para responder a la segunda pregunta, les cuento que estoy especialmente ilusionada con una compra que hice recientemente. Desde hace rato tenía en mente conseguir un bloqueador de tejidos, algo que para quienes tejemos representa una herramienta muy útil para darle el acabado perfecto a nuestras piezas. Finalmente, me decidí a pedirlo y lo compré por Temu, una plataforma en la que nunca había hecho pedidos antes, así que todo es nuevo para mí. Aunque aún no me ha llegado, estoy un poco ansiosa por recibirlo. Mi emoción crece, y siento que ya falta poco. ¡Estoy feliz! No veo la hora de estrenarlo y ver cómo mejora el resultado final de mis tejidos.
Estos son momentos simples, pero significativos, que me recuerdan lo bonito que es disfrutar lo que uno hace, seguir aprendiendo y darse pequeños gustos que alimentan el alma.
