Memory is woven in family meetings
Greetings, my dear Ladies of Hive. I hope you are doing very well with abundant health and well-being.
I share my participation in the #235 edition of the contest to which we are invited, weekly, by the Ladies of Hive. On this occasion, I will answer question number two of those proposed by our friend @ifarmgirl for this week:
2️⃣ You received an invitation to three special occasions, but they all coincide on the same day and in different places: your cousin's wedding, a big family reunion and your best friend's wedding anniversary. Where would you go and why?
While receiving three such important invitations for the same day would be a nice surprise, I feel like the family reunion is a unique opportunity that I wouldn't pass up. So, without hesitation, I would go to the family reunion.

Comparto mi participación en la edición #235 del concurso al que nos invitan, semanalmente, las Damas de Hive. En esta ocasión, daré respuesta a la pregunta número dos de las que nos ha propuesto la amiga @ifarmgirl para esta semana:
2️⃣ Recibiste una invitación a tres ocasiones especiales, pero todas coinciden en el mismo día y en lugares diferentes: la boda de tu primo, una gran reunión familiar y el aniversario de bodas de tu mejor amigo. ¿Adónde irías y por qué?
Aunque recibir tres invitaciones tan importantes para el mismo día sería una bonita sorpresa, siento que la reunión familiar es una oportunidad única que no dejaría pasar. Así que, sin dudarlo, yo iría a la reunión familiar.
For me, family is one of the most important pillars of life, and any opportunity to share with them is something I deeply value. Sometimes, daily routines and responsibilities absorb us so much that we leave aside those moments that truly enrich the heart.
Every family gathering is an opportunity to create new memories, laugh together, share anecdotes, and simply enjoy the company of those who have known our history from the beginning. I also believe that these moments are fundamental for the new generations, so that they learn the value of family, the importance of togetherness and the warmth that can only be found among their own.
Life goes by fast, and for me, strengthening family ties is a way to honor where I come from and to nurture the roots that sustain me. We don't know how long we will be able to continue sharing with each of our family members, and that is why I believe it is important to take every opportunity to hug them, listen to them and make them feel how much we love them. For all these reasons, I am convinced that going to the family reunion is a decision that would make me very happy.
Para mí, la familia es uno de los pilares más importantes de la vida, y cualquier oportunidad de compartir con ellos es algo que valoro profundamente. A veces, las rutinas diarias y las responsabilidades nos absorben tanto que dejamos de lado esos momentos que realmente enriquecen el corazón.
Cada encuentro familiar es una oportunidad para crear nuevos recuerdos, reírnos juntos, compartir anécdotas, y simplemente disfrutar de la compañía de quienes conocen nuestra historia desde el principio. Además, considero que estos momentos son fundamentales para las nuevas generaciones, para que aprendan el valor de la familia, la importancia de la unión y la calidez que solo se encuentra entre los suyos.
La vida pasa rápido, y para mí, fortalecer los lazos familiares es una forma de honrar de dónde vengo y de alimentar las raíces que me sostienen. No sabemos cuánto tiempo podremos seguir compartiendo con cada uno de nuestros familiares, y por eso creo que es importante aprovechar cada ocasión para abrazarlos, escucharlos y hacerles sentir cuánto los queremos. Por todas estas razones, estoy convencida de que ir a la reunión familiar es una decisión me haría muy feliz.
