[Eng/Spa] Outing with Friends to a New Ice Cream Spot 🍋🍦/ Salida con amigos a un nuevo lugar de helados🍋🍦

Hola hermosa comunidad de family and friends, un placer compartir por aquí otra vez, después de un tiempo. En esta ocasión les quiero compartir una divertida experiencia con amigos en un nuevo lugar, aquí en la ciudad.

Hi beautiful family and friends community! It’s such a pleasure to be sharing here again after some time. This time, I want to tell you about a fun little adventure I had with friends at a new place in the city.

Mientras que comíamos pan con café, @eliigonzalez nos propuso la idea de ir a una nueva heladería aquí en la ciudad, obviamente nos encantó la idea y no dudamos en ir.

While we were having some bread and coffee, @eliigonzalez came up with the idea to visit a new ice cream shop that had just opened — and of course, we loved the idea and didn’t think twice.

La heladería en cuestión se llama amalfi, por la ciudad italiana, y su propuesta son helados de yogurt al estilo amalfitano. Llegamos y estaba bastante lleno el lugar, de hecho la fila llegaba hasta la cera afuera del local, ya que esta bastante popular por su inauguración. Pero sin problema hicimos la fila, mientras que conversamos como siempre.

The place is called Amalfi, named after the Italian town, and their concept is yogurt-based gelato made in the Amalfi style. When we got there, the place was pretty packed — the line even stretched out onto the sidewalk — since it’s gotten quite popular after its grand opening. But we didn’t mind waiting and just kept chatting like always.

Por suerte pudimos tomar una mesa lo que hizo la experiencia más amena, de hecho, en las mesas habían hojas de papel con dibujos impresos y colores para colorear, el mio era un erizo super lindo, y gracias a eso me distraje mientras cuidaba la mesa, y los demás hacían la fila para pedir los helados. @ariwang quería tomar una foto linda mientras coloreaba pero no pude hacer una cara normal.

Luckily, we managed to grab a table, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. On the tables, they had coloring sheets with printed drawings and crayons — mine was a super cute hedgehog! That definitely kept me entertained while I saved the table and the others took turns waiting in line to order. @ariwang wanted to take a cute photo of me coloring, but of course, I couldn’t manage to make a normal face for it!

Cuando por fin nos dieron nuestro helados, ya había oscurecido un poco. Mi helado lo quería de pistacho, pero ya se les había acabado, así que pedí de parchita con syrups de chocolate negro, la combinación fue muy buena, pero para ser sincera el helado de yogurt no fue de mi gusto, tiene un sabor muy ácido.

By the time we finally got our ice creams, it was already getting dark. I originally wanted pistachio, but they had run out — so I went with passion fruit topped with dark chocolate syrup. The combo was pretty good, but to be honest, yogurt gelato isn’t really my thing — it was a bit too tangy for my taste.

De todos modos, la pase muy bien y chevere, conversando como siempre y con las personas correctas nunca se la pasa mal. Sin duda alguna, volvería para probar otro sabor.

Still, I had such a great time. It was chill and full of laughs, and when you’re with the right people, it’s always a good time. I’d definitely go back to try another flavor.
