Ecency - Daily Win Free Ecency Points

avatar

I have been using the Ecency mobile app for over a year now. It makes it very easy to stay on top of your Hive Activity when on the go. You do not have to stay tied to your desktop computer to read post, make comments, curate or create content.

I use the app every day to stay on top of what is happening on my Hive account.

But one thing you may not be aware of is the chance to win free daily ecency points. I sometimes forget to claim my free points because I just claim my points from my daily activity and then move one.

To claim your points you just click the "+" in the blue box and they will be added to your account . The Screen reflects that I have 0.25 Points ready to claim. I will click and claim these points.

Clain Points.PNG

Now the screen shows "Get Points" in the blue box. This is the step that I sometimes forget about to get my daily free points. Click on the "Get Points" box.

Get Points.PNG

The next screen that appears shows all the different amounts of Ecency points that you can purchase but do you notice the one at the bottom of the list.

Yes, that is right. It says "Free Points". If you click that button, you have a chance to win points on a daily basis. So go ahead and click the "Free Points" button.

Daily Free Points.PNG

You will notice that it is a "Spin & Win" so you do not know how many points you will win each day until you actually spin the wheel. You can win from 1 point to 200 points and various amounts between. Click the "Spin & Win" and see how many points you will win.

Daily Spin & Win.PNG

I received 1 point and the app sent me a notification reflecting the amount.

Notification of amount won.PNG

Points do add up fast so I am happy with my win knowing that next time I have a chance at winning 200 points. Also for using the Ecency app you get activity points just for being active on the app and also for voting or posting.

If you have not started using the Ecency Mobile app for the Hive Platform, give it a try. You will be surprised how easy it is to use and earn points.

Ecency has a referral program if you would like to get your friends signed up to the Hive Platform.

I didn't know about the ecency application, what means of payment do you accept to acquire points?

The purchases are considered in-app purchased so it would depend on what payment method you have set up on your phone. I have an iphone so any purchases I make would be paid using Apple Pay with the method I have set up for that. Take care.

Yes, I believe so. I just tried to find it on the desktop version of Ecency and when I clicked buy points, I was given a scan code to use for the mobile phone app. Take care.

I use @ecency, both as the Android mobile app, and the website via the Hive Keychain Android app, all day long, in conjunction with @peakd web apps, for most of my Hive activities. I do my voting, commenting, replying, and reblogging through @ecency for the points. Thanks for the tutorial for those who may not have been aware! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

That's so true! Hive is a huge ecosystem, and it takes time to learn it all! Thank you, and likewise! Have a fantastic week! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I noticed that for most of the days of the week (let's say 4 or 5 days), I find it convenient to start my commenting sessions just after the day in UTC time starts. 🤔 However, it happens that I often do not find your replies to my comments yet during those times !INDEED. 🤯😅

UTC changes for me at 2PM, and I don't usually get to responding to notifications until maybe 6-8PM. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

That means I should keep in mind that you usually respond to your comment (and sometimes mention) notifications at 04:00 to 06:00 UTC. 🤓

I should also tell @savvytester that! 😅

I wonder what you think about the new changes on the #Ecency frontend, especially the "Write" and "Preview" modes when typing comments as seen on mobile. 🤔 I myself am so not used to the change. 🤯😅

The #Ecency dev team still has not yet fixed the Notifications feature, which currently requires a refresh to see how many notifications (displayed as white text on a red circle) there are, as well as to be able to mark notifications as read !INDEED. 🤯🤓

It has been at least a few weeks since I noticed that opening the emoji picker at the beginning of any of my commenting sessions on the #Ecency commenting form requires at least three clicks (on desktop) or presses (on mobile) to open. 🤯 Opening the emoji picker again after successfully opening it for the first time requires just one click/press as usual. 😅

I wonder if you also experience it yourself (either on the #Ecency native app or the desktop/mobile website) !INDEED. 🤯

Anyway, this is my first (and last) commenting session for today (UTC), and I experienced that "three clicks" requirement to open the emoji picker the first time on this session. 😅

I still !HOPE that the #Ecency devs bring back the emoji picker to its former state where inserting an emoji does not (automatically) close the emoji picker itself, because it takes me and @savvytester almost twice as many clicks/presses just to insert two or more emojis in sequence !INDEED. 🤯😅

It would seem that you now need one of their features, snippets, to make up for one of their bugs. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Loading the Snippets picker on #Ecency for the first time on any of my commenting sessions also requires waiting more or less 3 seconds !INDEED. 🤯

It would be (very) inconvenient too to create a snippet for any set of two or more emojis that I often use, not to mention scrolling down and picking a set that I want to use everytime I would use multiple emojis at once. 😅

I noticed that no matter how many times I click (or press) the emoji picker on #Ecency when I start a commenting session, it takes about 3 seconds to finally load. 🤯 That's when I learned to click it once and wait for about 4 seconds to click again to finally be able to pick my emojis. 😅

Using a separate app for an emoji picker is even more inconvenient !INDEED. 🤯🤓

Yep, Ecency's great, but it is still very buggy.

That's a bugger then. Thankfully I don't tend to use emojis very much, outside of my usual call sign. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Such bugs !INDEED make me often use my alternative for #Ecency which is #PeakD, which is also great. 🧘‍♂️

Your combination of emojis is so unique, such that there practically seems to be a zero chance of someone accidentally using that. 🤯🤓

Since the v3 or legacy version of #Ecency is no longer being hosted, we can choose only between the main version (which is normally the one we use), the alpha version (in case there is a technical problem with the main version), and the direct version (if the problem is with the proxy) !INDEED. 🤓

Your name (especially your username) is also unique, though technically less unique than your favorite set of 5 emojis. 🤯😅

That tends to be my Ecency sequence as well when things go awry, and if all those don't work, I use the Ecency app.

I'm not sure how my name and username are less unique than my 5 call-sign emojis, since my name seems to be unique in the world, and if you see my username anywhere, it's almost certainly me. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Do you mean that even if all the #Ecency web apps (main, alpha, and direct) don't work for you, the mobile native Android app still usually works for you? 🤯

There are an estimated 4,000 emojis at present, where your set of 5 emojis (😁🙏💚✨🤙) can randomly occur in about once in 1 sextillion (4,000 raised to the 5th power), whereas the letters of the word tydynrain has just an approximately one in 5.4295 trillion chance (26 raised to the 9th power) to occur randomly in the right order. 🤯🤯 This paragraph took me about 10 minutes to finish! 🤣😂

Yes, and while it's not a guarantee that the app will work if the web versions don't, it often does.

OK, well there you go, I stand corrected and informed. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I forgot to add the word "likely" on the first paragraph on my previous comment !INDEED. 🤯😅

The chance of your set of 5 emojis appearing randomly (in the right order) is roughly still 200,000 times less likely than your Hive username's letters (also in the right order). 🤓

The set of characters of tydynrain 😁🙏💚✨🤙 (excluding the space in between) occurring randomly will then be roughly 1 out of 4,000^5 * 26^9 or 5.56 * 10^30 (where 10 with 30 zeroes is called "nonillion") !INDEED. 🤯🤯🤯😆🤓

How you identify yourself on your Hive account's profile description (which is Integral Evolutionary Nexus - I'm here for The Great Awakening - Birthing the New Humanity and the New Earth - Whole Natural Sovereign Divine Human(ity)! - My name is Tydyn Rain St. Clair, and I'm a starseed conspiracy realist, living naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community, way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. In my case, since I have only a limited time for Hive everyday, I try to reply first to all (kind and meaningful) comments under my own comments, and any extra time for that would be for managing my #HiveEngine tokens, so reading long posts in full and typing a long post myself are some activities that I barely have time for. 🧘‍♂️🤯
