Life sucks but...
If we all sit and think deeply about the things happening in the world today, getting up each morning would feel like a burden. Honestly, sometimes I feel like life is just a game played by a group of people _ it feels like a mystery and we're all trapped in it.
Why would someone be born, grow up, hustle, get married (if they wish to) have children, then fall sick, die , and eventually be forgotten, as though they never existed?
But then, there are things we just can't change. Thinking about them sometimes makes me sick. It drains my motivation. It kills my eagerness to wake up and try.
Yet, the truth is_ we are already here. And since we're here, the goal is to remain relevant, find happiness and make life count.
Despite the many challenges, obstacles that life brings, there are certain things that keeps me motivated. Here are a few of them.
1 . My family, especially my mom*
I will born into a family of six children and I'm the eldest daughter . One thing that keep me moving is seeing my mom and siblings happy
I lost my dad when I was just 12 years old and since then everything changed.
I grew up watching my mom selflessly struggle to raise us . She gave up alot for our sake and that gave me an unforgettable mark. I promise myself,to take good care of her as she ages.
That very promise still motivates me till date. The fact that I haven't fulfilled it to my heart content gives me a reason to keep trying every single day.
2. My children
There's something indescribably powerful about having your own children. That tiny little, cute baby looking up to you for love, protection, and survival _ it’s a priceless and the greatest gifts that life offers us.
The desire to provide for them, to protect them, to raise them, love and nurture them, makes me want to live forever ( if wishes were horses). They are my biggest reason to push on, even when I feel down.
3. My faith
I believe in God,I have faith in his words and I trust that one day, sickness and death will be no more. I believe I will see my father and all my loved ones again.
This faith keeps me going. It has helped me see life in a different way. It has helped me to value my time on earth and treat the world with kindness and love.
4. Love from well wishers, family and friends
The world isn’t all bad_ not when we look past the disappointments, heartbreaks, and deaths. There is still goodness. There is still light.
Sometimes, it’s in the smile of my friends. The encouragement of my mentors. The support from those who stood by me when I felt all hope was lost. People who sacrificed alot for me. I don't take these kind of people for granted.
No matter what life brings, as long as there is breath in me_ I will live. I will keep moving forward. I will hold on to the reasons that make life worth it.
Even when there's no reason, As long as there are people on earth, I would find reasons to hold on as I live.
Thanks for stopping by.
That's for reading till the end.

Your sense of responsibility towards your mother, your love for your children, and your faith in God, these are not only inspiring, but will also teach many people to think anew and live anew.
Thanks . I sincerely appreciate
Thank you so much
I was talking to someone this evening and I said this same thing! No matter how invisible the reasons to live are, there are still a thousand reasons, just look for them and you'll be fine.
A beautiful blog you've got here dear.
Yes, you just have to find a reason to hold on. Thanks for the nice comment
Life is worthwhile when we have a reason to keep pushing. The motivation you mentioned above are good reasons to do our best
