First time making tigernut and pineapple drink

Have you tried combining pineapple with tigernut?

Do you know, when you combine the tropical sweetness and tangy flavor of ripe pineapple with the creamy nutty taste of tigernut, the results is incredible.
It taste amazing, but not just that, it has great nutritional values.

Before now, I've only tried tigernut nut drink, but haven't combined it with pineapple.
I do purchase an already prepared tigernut drink, that is sold around my neighborhood.

I love the drink alot, and I guess people love it too. Because that woman sells almost all the bottle of tigernut she makes in a day, and some times, it is not even enough for her customer.

On my way to the market, I bought some tigernut, with plan to make just tigernut drink but but when I saw pineapple, an idea struck me.
I decided to combine the both and see how it tastes.

I already know how pineapple drink taste, and I also know how tigernut drink taste, but I wanted to find out how the both of them taste, when combined.

Below is a step by step process and ingredients used

Fruits needed

  • half cup of tigernut (soaked overnight)
  • One small sized pineapple
  • Water for blending

I would recommend that anyone with a super sweet tooth adds honey. I only wanted to know how the both taste, so I didn't add sweetener. Though without sweetener,it ok. It all depends on ones taste bud.

How I prepared it

I had already soaked my tigernut a night before.
I only had to drain out the water and set it aside.
I peel my pineapple and cut it into my desired shapes and also set it aside.

I started by blending my tigernuts, I added enough water to it and blend it.

I sieved out the water and throw away the chaff . I transferred the water to a cup and set it aside.

I proceeded to blending the pineapple, after blending, I poured in the tigernut milk and blend till everything is well mixed.

I transferred to my freezer and enjoyed it chilled.

Results

The vibrant yellow color of pineapple combined with the creamy texture of tigernut was a feast for both my eyes and also my taste buds.
This is one drink, I would like to take over and over again.
