A sweet mango delight garnished with coconut kisses

Greetings everyone!
Today, I present to you a naturally sweet dessert that I made from simple ingredients. It's easy to prepare, very healthy and above all, it has no artificial sweetener.

I learnt this recipe from a web 2 platform and this my first time preparing it. At first, I felt it wasn't going to turn out great but I was shocked. It turned out super amazing, sweet and lovely.

I prepared the dessert using four simple ingredients. One of them is garri. Garri is one of the end product of cassava. It is gotten by washing, peeling and Grinding cassava. Then the cassava is left for days in bag to remove excess water. After that,it is then dry fried until perfectly dried and ready.

Let's prepare my awesome dessert together!

Ingredients needed

  • 1 ripe mango
  • 1/2 cup of garri (cassava flakes)
  • 1/2 coconut
  • 1/2 cup of water.

How I prepared it

Blend the garri
Blending the garri will help get a smoother textures. This made it more like a flour texture and very easy to combine.

Prepare the mango

Then I peeled my ripe mango and scooped out the soft, juicy yellow flesh. I set it aside and ready for blending.

Blend the fruit and the garri

Into my blender, I added my garri, mango, and half cup of water and blend the mixture until smooth and well combined. The result was a rich, beautiful golden color dessert and a natural sweet aroma

Prepare the Coconut

While the base was resting, I began preparing my coconut for garnishing. I broke it open, removed the shell and carefully sliced it into thin, appealing strips.

Serve ,garnish and enjoy
I poured my dessert into my desired serving glass. Then garnished with some coconuts strips.

Now it's time to enjoy my amazing dessert garnish with coconut voila!.

This is superb. It's naturally sweet, creamy and satisfying. I enjoyed it and would love imto make it over and over again.
