Saludos queridos amantes de la costura, espero se encuentren de maravilla y estĂ©n teniendo una excelente semana. En mi post anterior les habĂa comentado que comprĂ© un par de telas para realizar algunas prendas de ropa para mĂ ya que suelo hacer siempre ropa para los demás y nunca hago nada para mĂ pero quiero cambiar eso y comenzar a coser para mĂ, iniciĂ© el proceso queriendo hacer el patrĂłn en papel por quĂ© estoy sacando todos los patrones para tenerlos almacenados y se me haga más fácil a la hora de cortar las piezas, asĂ que saque un patrĂłn sencillo para este short que lo iba hacer en una linda tela estampada asĂ que... acompañame a ver el proceso.
Greetings dear sewing lovers, I hope you are feeling wonderful and are having a great start of the week. In my previous post, I mentioned that I bought a couple of fabrics to make some clothes for myself, since I always make clothes for others and never make anything for myself, but I want to change that and start sewing for myself. I started the process by wanting to make the pattern on paper because I am taking out all the patterns to store them and make it easier for me when cutting the pieces, So I made a simple pattern for these shorts, which I was going to make out of a pretty printed fabric, so... Come with me to see the process.
Para realizar este proyecto utilicé:
- Tela microdurazno estampado
- Hilo a tono
- Elástica
- Tijera
- Cinta métrica
- Alfileres
- Máquina de coser
To make this project I used:
- microdurazno fabric
- Matching thread
- Scissors
- Tape measure
- Pins
- Sewing machine
Paso a paso || Step to step
Lo primero fuĂ© extender la tela doblada para luego colocar el patrĂłn y cortar, está vez no dejĂ© margen de costura por quĂ© la tela es stretch, despuĂ©s de tener cortadas las dos piezas comencĂ© a coser los tiros, cosĂ con costura recta y luego zigzag, proseguĂ con unir la entrepierna y luego de tener esto listo ya faltarĂan pocos detalles para terminar el short.
The first step was to spread out the folded fabric, then place the pattern on top and cut. This time, I didn't leave a seam allowance because the fabric is stretchy. After cutting out the two pieces, I started sewing the legs. I sewed with a straight stitch and then a zigzag stitch. I continued by joining the crotch, and once that was done, there were just a few details left to finish the shorts.
Para la pretina cosĂ la elástica en el borde de la pretina del short y cosĂ con zigzag y luego doble hacia adentro para pasar zigzag nuevamente y terminar la pretina, solo quedarĂa coser la orilla de lS piernas que lo hice con efecto de fruncido usando la puntada de ojal, el resultado me encantĂł y fuĂ© muy fácil de hacer. For the waistband, I sewed the elastic onto the edge of the shorts waistband and sewed it with a zigzag stitch, then folded it inwards to sew another zigzag stitch and finish the waistband. All that was left was to sew the edge of the legs, which I did with a gathered effect using a buttonhole stitch. I loved the result and it was very easy to do. I hope you liked this post.
