Lo primero que hice fué cortar todas las piezas, coloqué el pantalón de muestra sobre la tela doblada para cortar las dos piezas delanteras de una vez, luego corté las dos piezas traseras, saque los bolsillos en una tela negra y para hacer el bolsillo de este modelo corté un centímetro hacia adentro de los laterales del pantalón y del bolsillo solo la pieza delantera, luego cosí los bolsillos de ambos lados.

The first thing I did was cut out all the pieces. I placed the sample pants on the folded fabric to cut the two front pieces at once, then I cut the two back pieces. I cut out the pockets in black fabric, and to make the pocket for this model, I cut one centimeter in from the sides of the pants and the pocket, only on the front piece. Then I sewed the pockets on both sides.

Después de coser los bolsillos procedí a colocar las dos piezas traseras, enfrente los derechos de ambas piezas y cosí por los laterales como les muestro en la imagen, use costura recta y zigzag y luego pise la costura por fuera con otra costura recta, teniendo las dos piezas ya armadas procedí a coser los tiros tanto delantero como trasero, pasé también una costura doble para pisar la orilla de la costura.

After sewing the pockets, I proceeded to place the two back pieces, right sides together, and sewed along the sides as shown in the image. I used a straight stitch and zigzag stitch, and then topstitched the seam with another straight stitch. With the two pieces assembled, I proceeded to sew the front and back yokes. I also used a double stitch to press down the edge of the seam.

Cosí la entrepierna del shorts para luego coser los ruedos con un dobladillo y costura doble para decorar, por último coloqué la pretina, use elástico grueso y cosí en la parte interna con costura zigzag para luego doblar hacia dentro nuevamente y pasar dos costura rectas más sobre la elástica y que se viera mejor acabado, por último hice unos pequeños cortes en la pretina para poder sacar el cordón que ya viene dentro de la elástica, para concluir tenía bastante tiempo que no hacía este modelo de shorts y creo que no he perdido el toque por qué me quedó bastante bien, el estampado muy lindo también. I sewed the crotch of the shorts and then sewed the hems with a double stitch for decoration. Finally, I attached the waistband, using thick elastic, and sewed the inside with a zigzag stitch. I then folded it inwards again and sewed two more straight stitches over the elastic to give it a better finish. Finally, I made some small cuts in the waistband to pull out the drawstring that comes inside the elastic. To conclude, it had been quite a while since I had made this style of shorts, and I think I haven't lost my touch because they turned out pretty well, and the print is very cute too.
