Between flowers and flu #hpud [Eng-Esp]
May has the beautiful privilege of being considered the "month of flowers." In Venezuela, it also carries lovely traditions, such as the Cruz de Mayo. However, on the flip side, it is also known as the "month of flies and diarrhea."
This year, it has coincided with temperature changes that have triggered various flu strains to spread.
Although I managed to resist throughout the month, on the very last day, one of these flu viruses caught me. Now, here I am, lying in bed, with the added difficulty that I had an advisory session today, a rehearsal and a recording tomorrow, and on Tuesday, a performance with an orchestra—all of which are now uncertain.
So, as a "farewell gift" from May, I carry this parting surprise. However, this could not be a reason for me to suspend my participation in the Hive Power Up Day or #HPUD. Despite currently lacking leadership, it remains an important activity.
As usual, I publish the list of my power-ups from the past month, and I will also do so with my 10 hives (at least) to earn my badge, which is offered by @hivebuzz under the leadership of @arcange.

Mayo tiene el hermoso privilegio de ser considerado el "mes de las flores". En Venezuela tiene además bellas tradiciones, como lo es la Cruz de Mayo. Pero, en con contraposición, también tiene el mote del mes de las moscas y de las diarreas.
Este año también ha coincidido con cambios de temperatura que han hecho circular un montón de variantes de gripes.
Aunque yo resistí bien todo el mes, justo el último día me atrapó una de estas gripes y aquí estoy tirado en una cama, con la agravante de que hoy tenía una asesoría que me iban a brindar, mañana un ensayo y una grabación y el martes una actuación con una orquesta, lo cual está en entredicho ahora.
Pues, como "coletazo" de mayo, me llevo este "regalito". Sin embargo, esto no podía ser causa de suspensión de mi participación en el Hive Power Up Day o #HPUD, que aunque en estos momentos se quedó sin un liderazgo, sigue siendo una actividad de mucha importancia.
Como de costumbre, yo publico la lista de mis power ups del mes pasado y lo haré también con mis 10 hives (por lo menos) para hacerme acreedor de mi insignia, la cual es ofrecida por @hivebuzz, bajo el liderazgo de @arcange.

Get better soon! I'm actually suffering the same fate. All the strong pollen in the air, the dry landscape and strong winds. I've been sneezing so much and I've noticed a lot of others doing so recently. A mixture of hay fever and some flu going around. I had to spend the day inside trying to recover, incapable of breathing through my nose and having my head feel like it weighs a few tonnes!
Efectivamente que el "Power Up" (en especial el de la comunidad hispana) se quedó sin el liderazgo y apoyo que antes se tenía. A pesar de ello, considero que es una "tradición" digna de preservar, para los que interactuamos regularmente en Hive.
Espero que te mejores de la gripe.
