Eddy Merckx is a cycling legend, one of the greatest of this sport. Born in Belgium on June 17, 1945, he started cycling at a very young age when he was just 8 years old. That is why he is the most successful cyclist with 525 victories. Among the most notable are 5 Tours of France and 5 Giros de Italia.
