You need more of than just the algorithm. The data is also required. If you havent notice, the amount posted to X far outweighs what appears on Hive.

of course we have less data, but I mean adapt the algorythm to have a better for you page. In that way we can found post and users that maybe we never have the chace to read.
It is like, you like this kind of post I show you more of it.
