a friend of mine, who says going to school is a waste of time
Based on my personal experience in the past decades (between 1999 and 2012), he is right. I learned what I use nowadays on my own, and not in the school. Even mostly English. I learned it from computer games, from TV series, from movies, and from books I bought.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Yes, I agree with you, most stuff can be learned after, and English somehow is forced. If you did like I did, with the torrents before, then English was a must.
Yes. I downloaded many movies and many TV series with torrent between 2004 and 2018. Sometimes I still use torrent, but not that much, not that often, as in the past. I used DC++, Cabos and LimeWire too in the past. And maybe a few other file sharing programs too, which I currently do not remember.
