Beyond The Looking Glass - Words of the Unseen - Chapter 170

Beyond The Looking Glass is the second book in the Unseen series, a story that came to me from the other side. A story where I thought I was just the narrator until I heard the Words of the Unseen.
This second story goes beyond time and place and mixes the long ago with the here and now. Because history keeps repeating, until we learn and do something about it.

Beyond The Looking Glass - Words of the Unseen - Chapter 170

The Contradictio in Terminis; Me knowing that mankind was engineered to make them find purpose in work, while the real purpose remains hidden.
Avalon is meant to open up eyes and minds to that hidden purpose, but at the same time, Avalon will be more work than I can handle in the lifetime I have ahead.
Although I don´t think it will ever feel like work.
It will feel like home, and an anti-social personality like mine likes nothing better than to be at home all the time.
Hell, will my mind ever give me a break?
I snap back into my current reality and find that I am still staring at Bella's phone while she has already gotten up to get us some snacks.
Stop the overthinking, I tell myself, while she puts cheese and crackers on the table, and hands me a beer. She looks at me with that smile that still carries a whisper of Sei, "What do you think?"
"I guess I have no choice, Bella, no excuses to not do it. I am done here, and I think we are done here. Let´s go?"
Those last three words leave my lips as a question, a question which I know can only be answered with silence, as yes would be overkill.
It´s time; all the pieces are aligned. We have a mission, a vision, a plan, and even funds to start this adventure, all that was holding me back is, or was....me.
For years, I brushed these impressions aside as dreams, fantasies, the inventions of an overreaching mind. But now, with the strands of my journey woven together, the tapestry is showing a picture that is undeniable.
I stand at the edge of a new dawn, able to separate my own memories from the echoes of lifetimes past. Not perfect, but I start to recognize the voices of the unseen, and understand what I meant to remember.
The Garden is not a myth to me anymore; it is a rediscovered memory. As if I remember it, not as paradise but as an open world laboratory where human DNA was shaped, sculpted, coded by unseen hands.
The idea that humanity’s birth was no accident, no spark in chaos, but was by design, is making more sense than ever before.
We were nurtured like seedlings with one goal: cheap labor that is easy to manage.
Till he gave us choice, desire, the hunger to evolve, but also the shadow side, addiction, greed, accepting the comfort of what is known.
When our DNA was altered the second time, we were meant to be both divine and dangerous.
With the pieces falling into place, I see my journey has been guided, forced at times, because I could not hear the voices slipping through the cracks of my human mind.
Then there were flashes of clarity, the presences that sometimes borrowed a body itself. They inspired the books, books that were not just stories.
That first book it was meant to guide my mind; it was meant to linger on the shelf as a draft for years while I struggled my way through life.
Till that one moment in time, it eventually stepped up and told me, "Did you really think I would be the book that matters....I was just a test. A handlebar, now go and write the one that does matter."
The one that does matter, that was kind of a non-compliment for a book I spent a thousand hours on, but I get it. Practice makes perfect, or it at least made me a bit better.
Pieces falling into place, and then there is that bloodline.
It is still blurry and unclear, and I know it has to do with my lineage, which is not a straight line. It´s a spiral, folding back on itself through incarnations. My ancestors are not only behind me, they are within me, alive as memory coded into my DNA.
The same patterns, the same missions replaying across generations. I am not just one man. I am a vessel of many voices, many lives, converging here and now for a single purpose.
It´s not just mine, it´s the bloodline that started in the Garden with Eve. But contrary to what the good book tells us, Eve was not the only one in the garden. There must have been more; they were, after all, building and managing a workforce.
But were they not all equally enhanced? Is that why I keep hearing about this bloodline?
