Unlocked @risingstargame Country Tour After 4+ Years of Gameplay

It is not easy to progress in the game after the first few Levels. This is a good thing for the developers because it saves them from having to continuously add more to the game to extend what is available for the long term players. I have been playing Rising Star for over 4 years and there are areas I am yet to unlock. Since the game is closer to an idle game, I do not have a problem with the slow progress. It only takes a small amount of my time from each day. After all this time of playing, I have unlocked the 4th area.

Ready for Country Tour

Level 200 players can conduct the Manager Interview to find a manager for the Band. I assume the likelihood of success per Mission is 10%. The Mission has to succeed only once and there are STARBITS Rewards and XP to be gained. Therefore failures are not complete failures. There are more requirements than simply making it to Level 200 to unlock Country Tour. As a long time players of the game, I had completed all of them except unlocking the Manger slot in Band.

Manger Interview must be one of the least played Missions in @risingstargame considering both the difficulty of reaching Level 200 and low Rewards it gives out compared to the other available Missions. I have not come across any Missions longer than 5 hours in the game. I do not recall seeing any others doing the same Mission along with me either.

Unlocked Manger + Raves Participation

Over nearly 5 years, Rising Star gameplay has evolved to be easy to engage with. Around the same time I unlocked the Manager slot, I also had the pleasure of participating in Raves and click on a Dancer to be one of the lucky 10% who get instant STARBITS Rewards.

After this milestone, all I have left to do is equip myself a Manager and go to the next area of the game. I think this might be the final area as I don't see anything about an International Tour. There are few other modes I have not fully explored yet. I have been very comfortable playing the game the usual way.

Click on The Cards to See Band Management

My @stickupboys themed avatar is obscuring the Band Cards that show on on the left side of the UI. Click on one of them to be greeted into Band Management. Play around and figure out what looks best for yourself. More Cards in the Collection gives both more options and potential analysis paralysis. Do not overthink things. It is only a game and it is best to simply have a good time withe the game rather than worrying about optimization.

I already had 3 Cards for the job (mostly coming out of Booster Packs) and I picked the one withe the best Stats for the job. I have not updated rest of the Band in a long time. I am fine with the way things are at the moment.

A Long Time Left for Rap Battle

I have to get to Level 210 to play the first Mission in Country Tour and that is only a small 5 minute Mission that consume 15% of Energy. Rest of the Missions will take even longer to unlock. It is not easy to gain XP with the setup I have. I play the game almost everyday. The progress has been very slow.

I am happy to have make it this far. I have been with @risingstargame for almost 5 years now. IIRC I joined the game after a giveaway from one of the Tribes we had with a gaming focus. It has been a good journey and I expect to be around for long time. I have been with enough downs on HIVE, I am definitely sticking around for the best times.

A great deal has changed in the cryptosphere over the past few years. Things are not looking the best for decentralization. Many elements can be blamed for this. As for Lean FIRE goals, current centralized profit driven market conditions should end up being positive for short and probably even for the medium term. The most important thing we can do at the moment is to grow decentralized communities. Bigger and stronger communities can build circular economies and partially decouple ourselves from the corrupt and badly designed systems against freedom.

Happy Gaming! Happy Investing!
