The technology that built @splinterlands into what it is today is being adapted into two more platformed under Invennium which is a fully owned subsidiary of Steem Monsters Corp. Think of the early days of @splinterlands in 2018 where there were only few players. During the previous bull market there were half a million monthly active players and it gave the confidence for the company to start many projects. SPS Nodes, Land and Soulkeep were few of them. In order to expand the technology into sports and arcade gaming, two other projects were created.

Arcade Colony Keeps on Expanding

I have not followed the project closely enough because I'm preoccupied with @splinterlands gameplay. That makes up the biggest part of my portfolio. It is only today that I realized that there is a new project added to the website. It seems to be more about environmental activism. I am certainly not interested in these PsyOps holding back human progress and spreading collectivism. At this point we need partnerships. As long as it brings in users and revenue, I don't mind some activists having their activist themed games. It is probably a good indicator of our support of free speech.

2nd Year of The 5 Year Airdrop

We are used to long ongoing Airdrops on HIVE. @arcadecolony took the Airdrops to a whole new level by creating a 5 year Airdrop with each year allocating more COLONY Tokens for the Airdrop. Recently we moved onto the second year. I had some unclaimed COLONY collected over some time.

I have not sold a single COLONY Token so far. I'm in this for the long term and I understand that success can take many years to build. We are building the Web 3 equivalent of Miniclip or Kongregate. HIVE can be an excellent choice as it is a blockchain with fast feeless transactions with one block finality. To make things even better, we have usernames and a social media to keep players engaged and rewarded without having to rely on centralized platforms that are heavy on censorship.

The plan is to keep staking COLONY until the project becomes a major success. $SPS almost reached $1 and I would love to see similar performance from Arcade Colony. We will require more games, players and development to get there. Do not expect to see $1 COLONY because the maximum supply is 21 billion. That is 7 times more than the 3 billion supply of $SPS and 11.5 times larger than the 2 billion maximum supply of GLX.

Genesis League Sports for The Sport Niche

I made a small investment into @gls.goals during the Presale. GLX and GLGT I own come from Airdrop for SPS staking combined with staking revenue for GLX. There is only one game at the moment. This may lead some people to confuse Genesis League Sports with Genesis League Goals. "Goals" is the game and "Sports" is the platform many other games would be built on in the future.

50% of the COLONY Airdrop is allocated to those who are staking GLX. If your goal is to maximize COLONY Airdrop, buying and staking GLX is the most efficient route. The downside of staking GLX is that $SPS is more likely to have a better price appreciation compared to GLX. Plan your investments accordingly.

GLGT is similar to VOUCHERs of @splinterlands (while it was transferable from and to HIVE-Engine). I earn a small amount of GLGT everyday and I usually sell these as I don't have a use case for them at the moment.

The Game I Spend Most Time on

Most of the $SPS I own have been earned; not bought. This is a fact that I am very proud of. I have had to sell some significant amounts of SPS for things such as Presales in the game. Looking at the prices of the Cards versus $SPS, it seems to have been the wiser choice.

The gameplay results have been okay for the previous Season. The competition is getting tougher over time. My Collection have not changed much over the past few years except for the Reward Cards. Influx of new players into Diamond League may prove beneficial in the future. I used to make it into Champion League regularly.

One area that I can improve is Land Rewards. I have a massive DEC deficiency and I am unable to get the best out of the 58 Plots I own. 21 of them (Natural Plots) have not even been cleared and constructed on. Once the market conditions get better, I want to focus on getting all my Plots in Praetoria working.

Interest in cryptosphere peaked in 2021 and it never recovered. We are not even in a mature phase of a bull market yet. Do not let the current bleakness of the prices make you loose hope. We have barely stepped onto the good times.
