The joy of family

Early Saturday morning i was already at my workers office. My aim and expectation was just to pick the tools that was meant for our client at Asaba so we can send them to him and receive our payment.

I had reminded my worker on Thursday that the client needed the package before Saturday because he needed to use them on sunday. He warned that if we don't deliver he would cancel the purchase.

That Saturday morning i was hoping that my worker understood the pressure on us but when i arrived at the office he hadn't even finished the work. I was so disappointed because we had used the company funds to start the project expecting that we will deliver and seal up the holes when the client pay full.

Here i was reflecting my choice in selecting an bad worker. The crazy thing about this was that i was the one who was going to lose money because i normally pay them full to commence my jobs.

I learnt my lesson that morning immediately i phoned my business mentor that i wasn't meant to be paying them full. That way we can share the losses together and i won't carry the losses alone. I had called him so he would work me through how i would withdraw my investment so i can use it to invest in my business.

"I will never allow you to withdraw your only and biggest investment, you are emotional now" he said.

After many hours after i had calm down i appreciated that advise that came from him.

My hands were tied and it means I was almost starting from the beginning again.
The annoying part was that the worker was not even apologetic for his faults and for disappointing me. He claimed his right which left me dumbfounded.

You know that kind of situation where you are questioning your decision and you can't even get angry because you weren't cautious enough to avoid it even though you could have from the onset.

I was in that condition. I needed money to even get food for myself. My best friend was to wed that week and i had to travel to go support her in her big day. Yes, i didn't have the money because from my profit i had budgeted my traveling plans.

I was just seated at home trying to make new plans. I received a chat from my younger sister asking me how i was.
"I heard what happened are you okay" she asked.

I'm a kind of guy who doesn't like talking when the wound is still fresh. I rather just pray and stay alone before talking to someone.

My sister asked for my account number and sent money to me. I couldn't even move from where i was. I was both shocked and surprised. She was my younger sister, so i never even expected this from her.

The Joy that filled my heart when i received that alert. The money wasn't much but knowing that any member of my family i run to would turn up for me was heartwarming.

Like every younger sister she added "please don't tell anyone that i sent you money, so they won't think i have money and refuse to send more to me. When they send more i would send extra to me"

She just recruited me into her plans now. She had to ruin it😂😂.
I was really overjoyed
