Ruford enterprises just declared bankruptcy. The first of its kind since the establishment of the company. In the year 1986, the founding father's Ruford Jones along with his two brothers founded the fashion company just in their grandpa's garage.

I guess Noland stepped on some powerful politicians foot and since then the companies nightmare begun. Noland is the only son of Johan Ruford the CEO of Ruford. Johan's style of raising his only son was not the textbook format.

Who buys eleven Lamborghini's for his eleven year old son. Noland grew up knowing his father was a wealthy man but we wouldn't say the same for his younger sister, Anna.

Noland had an altercation with the senators son and your guess is as good as mine, it didn't end with the just the exchange of words. The same way Johan cherishes Noland, was the same way Senator Mark cherished his only son Troy.

The senator asked Johan to ask his son to make a public apology, apologizing to his son, Troy.

"My son is the face of trillions of dollars, he is the next generation of this mighty conglomerate. He will never bend the knee to any man" Johan voiced from the other end of the call.

"Don't say i didn't warn you, Johan. I will show how the 21st century works" Senator Mark said before ending his call.

This happened three years ago, and since then from one policy to another and each policy tends to affect one arm of the Ruford enterprise.

The lawyers advised them to declare bankruptcy. Who would have taught only an apology would have made such a situation never to exist. They made the Choice, they can't choose the consequences.

The only way out of this was what Mr. Nocaben, the family lawyer suggested. A merger between Ruford enterprises and Oxy motors.

The CEO of Oxy Motors, Raymond just came back 5 years ago and took over the company after the passing of his Dad. Since then, the company has closed 25 major deals making them the 10th biggest vehicles brand in the world, far from where Raymond met the company. If Mr.Oxy was alive to see what his son had achieved, he would be really proud.

Raymond met Anna at the shopping mall in Germany on one of his business trips. He had been meaning to approach her but even though he was a good business man, he was a shy guy in terms of relationship.

This was the right opportunity although the circumstances wasn't a good one but Raymond decided to exploit it.

The merger between Ruford enterprise and Oxy motors will only happen if Anna agreed to marry Raymond.

"Never Dad, are you trying to sell me off? This is the 21st century and that's not your call to make but mine".

"Why does everyone keep reminding me that this is the 21st century? I have a calendar too. Well, Anna hun, just go on a date with him. Just one date and know that the choices you make now, will be our life guard or a crack in our boat."

It seemed unfair that the job of 13,467 employees depended on Anna's response to Raymond. Anna decided to give it a try, after all, this company gave her the luxurious lifestyle she had.

Anna stepped into Duple, the biggest restaurant in town. It takes at least 2 months to get a reservation.

"Hey Richard, I'm...

"Anna" He interrupted. "Mi'amor, you look so hot that the sun is so jealous of you" He pulled out the chair for her to sit.

"Where is everyone? I thought this place was never empty."

I understood you loved Spanish food, so i bought the restaurant, check the papers, its in your name." He said placing the papers on the table.

Anna's eyes were wide open in disbelief. She quickly opened the papers and it was true. There was a place that needed her signature though.

"Once you say yes to my proposal Mi'amor, its yours" Raymond said.

"You bought a whole restaurant because you want to impress me" Anna asked.

Raymond smiled briefly. I asked around about you and i figured you love cooking. Infact you went to a Spanish culinary school for a year and seven months. So, this was more like an investment into my wife's future.

Wife??? Oh, you think because you bought a restaurant in my name and because of the merger i will say to you?"

Raymond chuckled, "Mi amor, i only asked for that condition for the merger because that's the only reason you would agree to sit with me like this. Even if you say no to my marriage proposal, i would still go on with the merger, your Dad's company would make me alot of money. But Mi amor, i already know you like me, in your head, you feel like leaving but you don't know why you are still seated. Let me tell you why, you want to see how all this would end.

Let me tell you how it would end, with me and you married in a few months from now and three years from now we would have three kids, a pair of twins and another boy. You know, my mum's genes are so strong so I'm sure my wife will give birth to a twin.

So Mi amor, Do i look like someone you would love to go on a date with tomorrow?

The truth is that Anna had never opened herself up to any man. But there was something different about him and it was so scary that she felt like running away and so amazing that she felt like exploring.

"Let me go home and think about it, at least now i know I'm not being forced into this" Anna said.

Anna came back home and everyone was at the sitting room waiting for her to be back. Anna had never brought any guy home before so they were really feeling pessimistic about this.

When she walked in, everyone stood up and were looking at her waiting for her feedback.

"Well, i think i would give him a chance. We are going for another date tomorrow"

It seems Raymond had his answer already.
