Love ain't a scam

I think the subject of love has been underestimated. In the sense that we tend to mistaken it for lust or even mere attraction.

Even in the holy books, one of the sons of king David had feelings for his half sister. You know the funny thing, immediately after forcing himself on her by a conniving act, he hated her.

Now, can you beyond all reasonable doubt call that "Love."

Let me help you out, that's not love, it's lust.

I can tell you for a fact that the definition of what we call Love, may not be actually be true.

Have you considered how powerful love is, that when the bible mentioned how serious love could be it said "the love of money is the root of all evil."

It didn't say "money was the root, it said, the love of it"
That word there was translated in greek as Philargyria which means excessive fondness for material things.

You see the popular saying "Love na scam." It is because we do not actually know what love is. To see how toxic and strong love could be when it was used in the same sentence with money, it exposed that evil will spring forth.

Love is patient, kind, genuine. It is everything good. Infact the general summary of it all was that the scripture finally said; God is love.

So in all, it is generally telling us that love is not a feeling, it is a presence. You know, feelings could change anytime.

You could wake up at the wrong side of the bed, your emotions all over the place and say you get an alert of 5 million naira or 1 million dollars.
What do you think will happen?

Yes, your feelings will change immediately. Just like that happiness will board the ship and i tell you immediately something heavy happens that happiness could change too.

Hot or cold, all feelings change. So, you cannot also classify love as a feeling.

Can you??

The revelation of love as a person will make the idea of it as a feeling go numb.
