"Wait, wait Best" Julia called out bidding Bestlyn to stop on her tracks.
"What is it Julia we have to look for her, wherever she is now, she is alone and feels so betrayed," Bestlyn replied.

"Exactly, i wanted to ask you this. When did you notice that Billy had a thing for you. Please don't tell me you had no idea because when a guy likes a girl they make it obvious and from the way he approached you, that guy wore a lot of confidence on him," Julia said with so much anger in her voice.
"Fine, fine, I've noticed how he looks at me since he joined the team, i won't lie. I was feeling him too because he is handsome but i was about saying something to you guys when Mary blurted out how she was going to ask him out. I'm sorry.." Bestlyn said with so much restlessness and fear that her 12 years friendship with Mary was being threatened.

That apology is good but it's not for me, we have to look for Mary and talk to her and look for a way to save our friendship. You know she doesn't forgive easily, especially not when she thinks she was betrayed" Julia said as she paced out to the driveway with Bestlyn screaming and calling out for Mary.

Mary felt so disappointed, embarrassed and betrayed. She ran into an empty class room, sat on the far end in a hidden spot and cried.
She felt a shadow before her, she didn't want to pay attention to it mostly because the figure was going to see what the almighty Mary Delgado looked like with a teary face. But she had to see who it was just to make sure it wasn't a serial killer.

"Who are you?" Mary asked wiping the tear off her face with her hands.
I'm Raul, i've attended history class with you for two years, you don't know me but everyone knows you because you are popular.
Though this was a weird moment but Mary didn't fail to notice how she must have not paid attention to her surroundings. Especially given the fact that this guy was really good looking but that's not what she would say at this time right?.... She has to be rude because that's the real Mary Delgado.

"Thanks but no thanks for the introduction can you please leave me alone, i really want to be alone" she responded.

"Uhmmm, as much as i would love to do that, you are sitted in front of my locker and i have to pick up my stuff, so if you don't mind" He said feeling a little embarrassed because it was clearly a wrong time but he still had to do his stuff.

Mary ignored him and buried her head in between her knees, Raul not wanting to look like the rude guy decided to break the long and weird silence without making her more embarrassed.
"It wasn't really obvious you know." Raul said.

Mary looked at him "what are you talking about?" She asked.

Billy didn't turn you down, he didn't even know you had an interest in him. I guess only you and your friends were aware that you had your eyes on him, he said sitting on an empty chair.

Mary paused for a few minutes as if thinking about what he said, "But you noticed," Mary said.

"I only did because my eyes are always on you" Raul said looking at her intently. She could read all his thoughts just from the way he looked at her. It was a weird experience because she has always been the one in charge and for the first time it didn't appear so.
