Why are we spreading information we don't know much about??
Today, the abundance of information that anyone has access to makes the reflex to question something seen or read on the Internet that is not from a credible source valuable. "Believe and do not seek" is considered a biblical exhortation, only it is false. The original advice is "seek and ye shall find." People are divided into several categories if we talk about those who believe and those who research, that is, check, before believing.

We must actually be careful of the types of information we listen to
Some people spread information of things they know nothing about because they want to gain attention from others which is a very bad attitude
The experts and researchers we are told to listen by mass media are lying to protect their status and lifestyle.
More reasonable professionals provide proof of what is the ugly reality while being censored and risking their lives.
We may not know much about anything, but we can understand the importance of spreading the inconvenient truth.
And with time and persistence we learn where the truth can be told without the risk of censorship. Like here in Hive.

Because that is all we can do. Information by its nature lets us know what we don't know as we attain it. So as we learn more things the amount that we know we don't know grows and grows while the amount we know seems to shrink. Plus everything we know is based off of assumptions and conclusions based upon information we had previously gathered, so all of our information lies on a bedrock of the assumptions of an infant.
