Why Do People Suffer Tribulations?
Talking about the Bible, where the early Christians, they kept on preaching the gospel to many nations. They stood firm on their faith. They never let anything hinder them.
When we look into the Old Testament and the New Testament, this is quite surprising. Their behavior, their courage. It makes us wonder what true strength all this is.
The Christians in the Bible, in the New Testament, their response to persecution makes you conclude that they really understand what it is to have faith in Christ.
The early church in the Bible had different kind of perspective when it comes to Christians. But the Christians of today do not have that strong motive. They easily fall for temptations, tribulations, and they easily sway away from the teaching of Christ.
The Christians in the New Testament always live their life to please God, and in a way that always glorifies God. They live with true faith and believe in God. Jesus did not hide this part of them or these truths. But sometimes it's quite unfortunate what is happening.
So what is happening today?
People give the idea that becoming a Christian is a result of tribulation, which is false. Both Christians face tribulations. And problems might arise anyway. But the good news is that as children of Christ, we can overcome all these and come victorious at the end.
