🪈End of School Year Concert: Flute Gala 🪈

Hello music community🎶🎶💯 I hope everyone is doing very well. It's been a while since I last posted anything here😅 I've been a little absent since work and studies have me full but well this time I want to share with everyone a little bit of what was the end of the year concert and closing of the recorder chair of the Maracay nucleus where I participate and study for a long time, in this concert we had the participation of all levels of initiation from 5 year old children to the most advanced who are between 13 and 15 years old with a very varied repertoire of pure baroque, classical music and a little bit of the medieval period I hope you like it ☺️❤️.

Hola comunidad de música🎶🎶💯 espero que todos estén muy bien ,tengo ya bastante tiempo que no público nada por aquí😅 he estado un poquito desaparecida ya que el trabajo y los estudios me tienen full pero bueno en esta oportunidad quiero compartir con todos un poco de lo que fue el concierto de fin de año y cierre de la cátedra de flauta dulce del núcleo maracay donde yo participo y estudio desde hace muchísimo tiempo, en este concierto tuvimos la participación de todos los niveles de iniciación desde niños de 5 años hasta los más avanzados que tienen entre los 13 y 15 años con un repertorio bastante variado de pura música barroca, clasica y un poco del periodo medieval espero que les guste ☺️❤️.

We also have the participation of the Le Fénix Consort ensemble, which is a group of pure teachers and very advanced recorder students where they put together a very varied and demanding repertoire. In this new edition, a very good new partner joined us. Among the entire repertoire we put together, we have songs by Teleman, also old songs, among others 🎶.

También contamos con la participación del ensamble Le Fénix Consort , que es una agrupación de puros profesores y alumnos muy avanzados de flauta dulce donde montan un repertorio muy variado y exigente en esta nueva edición se nos unió un nuevo compañero bastante bueno, entre todo el repertorio que montamos tenemos temas de Teleman, también canciones antiguas entre otras 🎶.

Unlike last year which was about Venezuelan music, this edition was about baroque and early music, where the recorder was very popular with composers who stood out quite a bit for the instrument, so for this year's end we wanted to focus on that study and those techniques, we got a lot of useful and easy repertoire so that the kids found it fun and enjoyable to be able to study the recorder and put on a good closing concert, we also had the participation of some students who, due to their studies and their effort, wanted to play solo pieces like the Habanera from the opera Carmen, little girls of 5 years old who are starting to study and chose lessons in some recorder methods to present them on their own, among others.

A diferencia del año pasado que fue de música venezolana, esta edición fue de música barroca y música antigua, donde la flauta dulce tenía mucha popularidad con compositores que destacaban bastante para el instrumento entonces para este cierre de año quisimos enfocarnos en ese estudio y en esas técnicas, conseguimos mucho repertorio de provecho y bastante fácil para que a los muchachos se les hiciera divertido y ameno poder estudiar la flauta dulce y montar un buen concierto de cierre, también tuvimos la participación de algunos alumnos que por sus estudios y su esfuerzo quisieron tocar piezas solistas como la Habanera de la ópera del Carmen, niñas chiquitas de 5 años que están iniciando en el estudio y eligieron lecciones de algunos métodos de flauta dulce para presentarlos ella solitas, entre otros más.

It was a long few months of preparation and effort but it paid off, as the children learned a lot achieving the main objective which was individual and group learning, polishing their skills with the instrument as well as showing the recorder and its professional studies beyond being an introductory instrument, we wanted to show how the different stages there are from little children to the most advanced in the chair, it was a very intimate recital only attended by the students' families but the goal was met🎶❤️.

Fueron meses largos de mucha preparación y esfuerzo pero dió sus frutos ,ya que los niños aprendieron bastante logrando el objetivo principal que era el aprendizaje individual y grupal puliendo sus habilidades con el instrumento además de mostrar a la flauta dulce y sus estudios profesionales más allá de ser un instrumento de iniciación, quisimos mostrar como las diferentes etapas que hay desde los niños chiquitos hasta lo más avanzados en la cátedra, fue un recital muy íntimo nada más asistieron los familiares de los estudiantes pero se cumplió la meta🎶❤️.

For me it was quite enjoyable, we had a little sharing to celebrate the boys' effort along with their parents and representatives, for next year we will do another concert like this, obviously I will record it a little better 😞 I must admit that I could not concentrate on recording well since I was focused on the children and that everything went well musically but for the next one I promise to record the best hehehe, it really was a very pleasant experience, I loved playing with the ensemble and with our new member, he really is a very, very, very friendly, happy boy, we will continue building and building, but it was an excellent experience for me, what I liked the most was La Royne, it is a collection of quite old songs, we wanted to add percussion but due to the short time it did not happen, however we will see if we make some arrangements and add some good percussion, these songs are incredible, at least the first movement is happy, lively, the second makes you feel like in a Zelda video game, like in a Dark fantasy, the third It is moderate a little slower, the fourth is an allegro The fifth is a moderato slower than the third and so on, there are seven movements and each one has its own particularity. I think the most difficult thing about practicing this piece was the time changes, it was something that cost us a lot to put together but it was done quite well even though we didn't have the percussion.

Para mí fue bastante ameno, hicimos un pequeño compartir para celebrar el esfuerzo de los muchachos junto con sus padres y representantes, ya para el próximo año haremos otro concierto como este,obviamente lo voy a grabarun poquito mejor😞 debo admitir que no me pude concentrar en grabar bien ya que estaba concentrada en los niños y en que todo saliera musicalmente bien pero para la próxima sí prometo grabar lo mejor jejeje, de verdad que fue una experiencia muy amena ame tocar con el ensamble y con nuestro nuevo integrante de verdad es un niño muy muy pero muy amigable alegre, seguiremos construyendo y edificando, pero fue una experiencia excelente para mí, lo que más me gustó fue La Royne, es una colección de temas bastante viejos le queríamos agregar percusión pero por el corto tiempo no se dió, sin embargo vamos a ver si le hacemos unos arreglos y le adjuntamos una percusión buena, estos temas son increíbles, por lo menos el primer movimiento es alegre, movido, el segundo te hace estar como en un videojuego de Zelda ,como en un Dark fantasy ,el tercero es moderado un poquito más lento, el cuarto es un alegro El quinto es un moderato más lento que el tercero y así sucesivamente, son siete movimientos y cada uno tiene su particularidad.Creo que lo más difícil de practicar esta pieza fue los cambios de tiempo, fue algo que nos costó mucho ensamblar pero se hizo bastante bien a pesar que no contábamos con la percusión.
