Gungrave: Betrayal and Family

How are you doing, anime community? It's a pleasure to stop by, and everyone is welcome to my blog. On this special occasion, I want to introduce you to a little-known but fantastic anime. The first time I saw it, it left me quite shocked, as it combines various styles such as gore, science fiction, and more. I'm talking about Gungrave, I hope you like it 🫶🏻.

¿Cómo están comunidad de anime? un gusto pasar por aquí y sean todos bienvenidos a mi blog en esta grata ocasión quiero presentarle un anime no muy conocido, pero buenísimo el cual la primera vez que lo vi me dejó bastante impactada, ya que combina varios estilos como el gore, la ciencia ficción, entre otros, estoy hablando de Gungrave espero les agrade 🫶🏻.

Our story begins thirteen years after Brandon Heat, a man who lived in the suburbs of a decadent city with his best friend Harry MacDowell, after falling out with the wrong people, must flee, without having anywhere to go, however they receive the proposal to join Millennion, the largest criminal syndicate of the mafia in the city, both accept but shortly after Brandon is betrayed by Harry, and decides to be reborn as "Beyond The Grave", beginning the search for his revenge against the organization to which he belonged and the friend who betrayed him and goes in search of the daughter of his best friend Big Daddy, better known as the creator of Millennion.

Nuestra historia comienza trece años después de que Brandon Heat, un hombre que vivía en los suburbios de una decadente ciudad junto con su mejor amigo Harry MacDowell, después de enemistarse con la gente equivocada, deben huir, sin tener algún sitio al que ir, sin embargo reciben la propuesta de unirse a Millennion, el mayor sindicato criminal de la mafia en la ciudad, ambos aceptan pero poco después Brandon es traicionado por Harry, y decide renacer como "Beyond The Grave", iniciando la búsqueda de su venganza frente a la organización a la que perteneció y al amigo que lo traicionó y va en busca de la hija de su mejor amigo Big Daddy, más conocido como el creador de Millennion.

The fights do not stop and when Harr came to power, Brandon remained loyal to the union, however Brandon confronts Harry for betraying the organization, demanding answers, unable to kill his friend. Instead, Harry kills Brandon, some time later Brandon is resurrected by Dr. Tokioka as Beyond the grave. Now his purpose is to destroy the union for which he worked and destroy the friend who betrayed him, Brandon knows that Mika is the daughter of his friend Big Daddy, who had a relationship with Maria (she was killed some time later), and he plans to finish her off and all of Big's bloodline)

Las peleas no paran y cuando Harr subió al poder, Brandon seguía siendo leal al sindicato, no obstante Brandon enfrenta a Harry por traicionar a la organización, pidiendo respuestas, incapaz de matar a su amigo. En cambio, Harry asesina a Brandon, tiempo más tarde Brandon es resucitado por el Dr. Tokioka como Beyond the grave. Ahora su propósito es destruir el sindicato para el que trabajó y destruir al amigo que lo traicionó, Brandon sabe que Mika es hija de su amigo Big Daddy, quien tenía una relación con Maria ( está fue asesinada tiempo después), y este planea acabar con ella y toda la línea sanguínea de Big)

Gungrave is mainly a game released for Playstation 2 created by Yasuhiro Nightow, the anime was released on October 6, 2003 and has 26 episodes (it has no more seasons), as an interesting fact the sequel to the video game was released on the same date as the anime. I recommend watching the series because it is short but does not have any filler chapters, it has a fairly well condensed story apart from the soundtrack that was in charge of the openings and ending is one of my favorites, it maintains that characteristic style of the anime of the 2000s, so for me it is a gem of animation, this series helps you understand the entire video game a little more in depth in this way, you can familiarize yourself more quickly with what you have to do during the missions, although the game is no longer very fashionable the anime is still relevant today.Gumbrave is one of those animes that is definitely worth watching once in a lifetime. It has a good plot, good animation, and a good concept and use of action. It has certain similarities with Hellsing but maintains its own spark.

Gungrave principalmente es un juego lanzado para Playstation 2 creado por Yasuhiro Nightow, el anime fue lanzado en el 6 de octubre del 2003 y cuenta con 26 episodios( no tiene más temporadas), como dato interesante la secuela del videojuego fue lanzada para la misma fecha que la emisión del anime. Recomiendo ver la serie porque es corta pero no tiene ningún capítulo de relleno, tiene una historia bastante bien condensada aparte que la banda sonora que se encargó de los openings y ending es una de mis favoritas, mantiene ese estilo característico de los animes de los 2000,así que para mí es una joyita de animación, esta serie te ayuda a comprender un poco más a fondo todo el videojuego de esta forma, te puedes familiarizar más rápido con lo que tienes que hacer durante las misiones, aunque el juego ya no está muy de moda el anime sigue teniendo relevancia en la actualidad.Gungrave es de esos animes que definitivamente valen la pena verlos una vez en la vida buena trama, buena animación y buen concepto y uso de la acción, tiene ciertas similitudes con Hellsing pero mantiene su propia chispa.
