Hello everyone ✨🤗 nice to greet you after so long hehehe 😅😅☺️, I have been somewhat busy lately however we continue rehearsing repertoire and this time a new Baroque repertoire, which is written for flute quartet but since the bass recorder is not very common in Venezuela, we adapted everything to 3 voices: Soprano, contra alto and tenor. We began to assemble a series of movements that make up the Bransle de la Royn, it was a bit difficult for me to put it together with my companions, since the time did not match well, I felt quite lost in the pulse, but with a lot of practice it was possible to put it together.

Hola a todos ✨🤗 un gusto saludarlos después de tanto tiempo jejeje 😅😅☺️, he estado algo ocupada últimamente sin embargo seguimos ensayando repertorio y esta vez un nuevo repertorio Barroco, el cual está escrito para cuarteto de flautas pero como la flauta dulce bajo no es muy común en Venezuela, adaptamos todo a 3 voces: Soprano, contra alto y tenor. Empezamos a montar una serie de movimientos que conforman el Bransle de la Royn, me costó un poco ensamblarlo con mis compañeros, ya que el tiempo no cuadraba bien, me sentía bastante perdida en el pulso, pero con bastante práctica se logró montar.

This is a piece of music and a dance from the Renaissance, specifically one of the ten dances that make up the collection "Terpsichore" by Michael Praetorius. This piece is one of the last in the collection and is designed for four guitars, we managed to get an adaptation for recorder. Bransles were popular social dances at court and in society in general during the Baroque era, their simple and repetitive structure made them easy to learn and perform, being suitable for groups of dancers of different levels.

Está es una pieza musical y un baile del Renacimiento, específicamente uno de los diez bailes que componen la colección "Terpsichore" de Michael Praetorius. Esta pieza es una de las últimas en la colección y está diseñada para cuatro guitarras, nosotros logramos conseguir una adaptación para flauta dulce.Los bransles eran bailes sociales populares en la corte y en la sociedad en general durante la época barroca,su estructura simple y repetitiva facilitaba su aprendizaje y ejecución, siendo aptos para grupos de bailarines de diferentes niveles.

This piece is part of the new Baroque repertoire that we are starting to study. I really like the first and second movements, each of them has its own characteristics and different accompaniment (I will soon upload the assembly with the accompaniment). With this Royne I feel like I am in the Baroque era, playing for the court of kings in an elegant hall 😅✨. I really hope you can enjoy this piece as much as I did when I put it together with my classmates ☺️.

Está pieza es parte del nuevo repertorio Barroco que empezamos a estudiar, me gusta mucho el primer y segundo movimiento, cada uno de ellos tiene sus propias características y diferente acompañamiento ( próximamente subiré el ensamblaje con el acompañamiento), con esta Royne me siento en la época barroca, tocando para la corte de los reyes en un salón elegante 😅✨, la verdad espero que puedan disfrutar de esta pieza tanto como yo al montarla con mis compañeros de cátedra ☺️.

There are 10 movements, but we put together 6, in almost all the rounds we reviewed I made mistakes, except in this one 🥹🥹, everything went well, we entered on time and most importantly, we kept the rhythm well. At first this piece was a bit complicated for me, it has some counterpoint and playing your own melodic line without going out of phase is complicated, there were times where I was completely disoriented and stopped playing, one gets used to playing accompanied by another voice and having rhythmic similarities, but this time it was not like that and putting everything together cost me a little more than usual, however it was worth it since the result was very epic. Taking on new challenges this year has been one of my main goals to continue studying music, Baroque music is definitely not for everyone and requires not only level but the ability to understand the piece in all its splendor, what the composer wanted to express, what was happening at that time, among many other factors that affect the expressiveness of the piece and are extremely necessary to execute something in the Baroque style.

Son 10 movimientos, pero montamos 6, en casi todas las vueltas que repasamos me equivocaba, menos en esta 🥹🥹, todo cuadro bien, entramos a tiempo y lo mas importante, llevamos bien el ritmo. Al principio está pieza fue un poco complicada para mí, tiene algo de contra punto y tocar tu propia línea melódica sin desfasarse es complicado, hubo veces donde estaba desorientada completamente y dejaba de tocar, uno se acostumbra a tocar acompañada de otra voz y tener similitudes rítmicas, pero está vez no fue así y ensamblar todo me costó un poco más de lo usual, sin embargo valió la pena ya que el resultado fue muy epico. Tomar nuevos desafíos este año ha Sido uno de mis propósitos principales de seguir estudiando música, definitivamente la música Barroca no es para cualquiera y requiere no solo nivel si no la capacidad de entender la pieza en todo su esplendor, lo que quiso expresar el compositor, que pasaba en esa época, entre muchos factores más que afectan la expresividad de la pieza y son sumamente necesarios para ejecutar algo de estilo Barroco.
