Could be. I think Tumblr struggled to keep users engaged after some policy changes too. Tough to recover once the crowd moves on

the company that bought it has a lot of work to do to restore the trust of it's users
Definitely. Rebuilding trust is a huge challenge, especially after such a steep decline. They'll need to really listen to the community to turn things around
