Annual blood tests not to overlook:

  1. CBC (Complete Blood Count) — screens for infections and anemia

  2. CMP (Comprehensive Metabolic Panel) — evaluates liver and kidney function, plus electrolytes

  3. Lipid profile — tracks cholesterol and cardiovascular risk

  4. HbA1c — reflects average blood sugar over the past 3 months

  5. Vitamin D — impacts bone health, immunity, and energy

  6. Thyroid panel — includes TSH and assesses overall thyroid function

yeah, costs are up everywhere - mine ran me over $200 last time, but skipping it feels riskier imo

yeah I feel you - had to skip a few things to fit it in last time, but it pays off in the long run

Even with good habits, tests can catch stuff early that diet and exercise might miss - like thyroid issues or hidden deficiencies. Better safe than sorry imo
