SAME OLD WORRIES, JUST A DIFFERENT DAY.

Gotta free my mind , putting all these worries behind
Time and time deep thinking doesn't solve a thing when nothing is done
Sticking to my gun , it's the risk I live for
Yeah I've got a thick skin don't compare it to a fur

Sipping my fine wine while I reminisce the ugly scenes
Can't be caught brooding, I've got a closet where I can wear smiles
Glad enough the mind ain't transparent
I wonder if that's why life is for rent
No condition is permanent , it's just a turn by turn set of events

I've made peace with the fact that I can't have it all
But the little that's mine I'll keep and cherish
Oh yeah I'll guard and protect my peace jealously
Sometimes I want to be fierce but my instincts gets me tamed most times

Sometimes I yearn to break free from the mold,
To unleash the fire that my heart holds.
But tempered by wisdom, I choose restraint,
Knowing the power of words, not to leave them in taint.

In the depths of my soul, passions do ignite,
Yet guided by reason, I navigate the night.
Finding strength in balance, harmony I seek,
A dance between boldness and being meek.

Through life's winding journey, I've come to see,
That true courage lies in embracing vulnerability.
So I'll wear my scars like badges of honor,
Lessons learned, making me stronger

In the pursuit of peace, I'll guard my sanctuary,
For within its walls, I find solace and clarity.

I'll anchor myself, on distant shores.
