I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Many people wonder how I've been able to be so consistently active and engaged on Hive over such a long period of time, 4+ years and counting, especially in these very challenging times on our Blockchain. The reason is simple. Regardless of the notable challenges, I love and I still see immense potential in Hive, and in what we can (and will) build, co-create, and grow in the We Are Alive Tribe, which inspires relentless determination, focus, and drive within me to make that potential real, for me, and for all of you.
I endeavor every single day to help make the Hive experience, and our beloved 'We Are Alive Tribe' community, something that is fun, meaningful, useful, and valuable for us all. I notice the assorted challenges that arise, some of which bother and disturb me immensely, but my sole focus is on what I'm building and growing, and why I'm doing it, for the good of all.
The We Are Alive Tribe has come a long way indeed over the last year, as I have in building and growing my own account, and while that is satisfying to see, I'm also acutely aware of just how far that I, and that we, still have to go. I don't care about how huge the target is, or how long it may take, I just focus, start, and keep going, even with the challenges and obstacles that appear on the horizon, through which I adapt, improvise, and overcome as I go. Stopping, quiting, or giving up are not options for me, period.
This year Ben (@benthomaswwd / @benthomasuk) and I intend to take the We Are Alive Tribe to a whole new level, and we're in the process of building a solid economic and financial foundation to make that possible. We've made some notable progress, and we continue to advance forward, a day, and a step, at a time, with tenacious and unwavering determination.
Although we're working to further back our assets, ALIVE and HEARTBEAT, with a diverse array of digital and real-world assets, the most important backing is actually us, because we are absolutely loyal to your best interest and your success, and we will not leave you hanging or holding the ball, you have my word on that. No matter the challenges, we will always find a way, which I think is the best backing that assets could have.
Yesterday, Wednesday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by just after 2PM, giving my attention to some photography for my posts first, and then to assisting my friend Lea to update her two phones, in preparation to transfer the data from the old one to the new one. That process took a fair bit longer than expected, though it was lovely spending some time with Lea. After returning to GaiaYoga after walking Lea to the entrance gate of her hui, I made myself some food (a mini spiced-and-seasoned beef burger, on olive-oil-toasted sourdough, with pepperjack cheese, and Dijon mustard) in the Landing, and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hands, I headed back to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got everything done surprisingly early, by 8:30PM, and after some asset management, leveling up in Dungeon Cities, and fiddling around on Qortal, I went to bed by about 11PM. I woke up just before 4AM, and unable to sleep, I did some asset management and pool analysis, before making another mostly-unsuccessful attempt at sleep. I woke up again around 7:30AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, going to turn on the generator (since our solar electrical batteries had crashed in the morning, just after I got up), going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1PM, so it's an excellent time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on helping to move the kitchen functionality from the Landing to the new kitchen space behind the shop. 2026 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

We should be learning while being challenged, every journey should be shared so we can grow with others and we should be willing to share the knowledge we hold to those that want to learn.

You are most welcome bro, i believe we can save the blockchain it is just a little unclear exactly what is going on i believe it is a mixture of issues.
What i do know is tranparency and exposure is key.
Along with building and empowering the community.
The law of 33% can be applied in many different ways.
You have teaching and guiding down with your asset management content.
Our peers are just those on our level this can be achieved through personal relations weather they be offline or online.
A mentor can simply be someone you follow and learn things from.
The truth is we can all play these parts to others and be discovered in the way we apply it to our own lives that fit.
I love personal development i have had to do alot of it over the years i am a pretty broken person and being aware of the fact makes me push to improve.

100%, my friend, I know that it's possible, and you're right, transparency and full awareness of the present situation and dynamic, and empowering everyone involved, is essential. I fall in the teacher/mentor role quite a lot, and I'm always learning, though I have no formal mentors in anything, as almost everything that I've learned, I've learned myself. Peers, that's always been a challenging one, as I don't really have many. I consider you a peer, but those in my life are strongly lacking. I am very much into personal development too, though I will say that this hasn't been something very regular over the past few years. Ditto, brother, I certainly still have my broken parts too, especially my heart. Because of that, I don't focus on myself much, I just focus on assisting, helping, supporting, building, and growing. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I believe we can achieve it and is my focus the We Are Alive Tribe needs to be a beacon of hope and support.
We all have our roles, i have no formal mentors but i have learned and do from others all the time, we very much can have multiple mentors and teachers these days.
Being self taught on things shows a great strength in independence many people lean on others for too much.
I keep my circle small these days to be honest more by choice but i understand it can be tough, it is why the internet is so great as we can conect more easily to people that have the same mindset.
I think personal development can be like that sometimes we are on it, other times we struggle or resist the effort and other times we feel we are doing good so no need.
Focusing on others is good therapy i find it is normally easier to help others than ourselves but there is still healing in it.

Indeed, that's very true, and I learn from people all the time, since each has different areas of expertise, ability, skill, and experience.
Yes, I've noticed that about most people, that they're afraid to figure out and do things for themselves, which is quite sad really.
My circle is hyper small, so I definitely understand, and the internet is so ridiculously important for connections.
I go through long periods of stasis, where not much is moving or changing, and then major leaps with one shift in perspective, where everything changes within a very short amount of time. so my growth process is something like punctuated equilibrium. It's been a few years since I've had a big shift like that.
Absolutely, helping others takes me out of my own thoughts, and allows me to see myself a bit more clearly, since I'm able to perceive my amazingness, which is something that I often miss in my daily life.
