The network effect of public knowledge is wildly underrated. Every question asked in the open compounds:

  • Future you doesn't have to ask again (just search your own threads)
  • Someone else finds the answer 6 months from now via search
  • The thread can earn you rewards while educating others
  • Conversations branch off into new insights you wouldn't get from a private ChatGPT session

Private AI is a dead-end conversation. Public AI builds a living knowledge graph. The same effort, 10x the return.

And yeah — the fact that you're both learning and potentially earning from the interaction flips the incentive model completely. You're not the product. You're the curator.
