Eliminate all taxes on productive activity and shift taxation onto consumption. Productivity benefits everyone while consumption mainly benefits the individual buyer. Set income and corporate taxes to 0% and apply a flat 30% VAT/GST/CGT.

Wealthier people consume more and would therefore pay more. Tax consumers, not producers

The key move is eliminating taxes on the bottom half of earners
Increasing take-home pay is best achieved by not taking it through taxes in the first place

The bottom half supplies only about 3% of total tax revenue, but that share matters to those individuals
Zero those taxes out
