Having been targeted twice now, it's clear that continuing to use private keys is a major risk. Scammers are increasingly utilizing AI agents to target individuals and attempt to steal these keys.

The adoption of Vultisig, which offers security through multi-factor authentication, is the way forward, and efforts are underway to make it more accessible everywhere by improving the SDK.

Experienced another targeting incident on the workstation. After dismissing an unusual pop-up, the Finder "download" sound indicated files were being copied. Discovered full remote access with a copy script active. Disconnected from the internet immediately and found an osascript copying files to the Library/Caches. Now considering the source could be auto-download features or worse, knowing sensitive documents sync to iCloud. Reset the computer and plan to disable iCloud syncing. Fortunately, no private keys were involved, thanks to using Vultisig for vault shares.

Stay vigilant as targeting is not a matter of if, but when.
