Some snapshots from a day spent observing people, street vendors and monkeys.

लोगों, ठेले वालों और बंदरों को देखते हुए बिताए गए दिन की कुछ झलकियां।

It’s always entertaining to watch the soap bubble sellers. The way the bubbles float around, some big, some tiny, is quite amusing. It also takes me back to childhood days of playing with balloons. You can’t exactly play with these bubbles, but they still bring back that same feeling.

साबुन के बुलबुले बेचने वालों को देखना हमेशा मजेदार होता है। बुलबुले जिस तरह हवा में तैरते हैं, कुछ बड़े, कुछ छोटे, वह काफी दिलचस्प लगता है। यह मुझे बचपन के उन दिनों की याद भी दिलाता है जब हम गुब्बारों से खेलते थे। इन बुलबुलों के साथ वैसे खेल नहीं सकते, लेकिन फिर भी वही एहसास आ जाता है।

A few kids were running around trying to catch the bubbles, and it was genuinely nice to watch.

कुछ बच्चे भी इन बुलबुलों को पकड़ने के लिए इधर उधर भाग रहे थे, और उन्हें देखना सच में अच्छा लग रहा था।

There were also some monkeys nearby, clearly caught up in a little fight of their own. Two of them sat on a rooftop, almost like silent spectators. Being around them can be a bit unsettling since their mood shifts so quickly.

वहीं कुछ बंदर भी थे, जो आपस में किसी बात को लेकर लड़ रहे थे। उनमें से दो छत पर बैठे थे, जैसे चुपचाप सब देख रहे हों। उनके आसपास रहना थोड़ा डरावना लगता है, क्योंकि उनका मूड कब बदल जाए, कुछ कहा नहीं जा सकता।

As I moved along, I came across a frame that stood out, three statues aligned perfectly. The one in the middle, with a raised hand, was of a chief minister who served the state for many years.

आगे बढ़ते हुए एक फ्रेम नजर आया जो काफी अच्छा लगा, तीन मूर्तियां एक सीध में लगी हुई थीं। बीच वाली मूर्ति, जिसमें हाथ उठा हुआ था, एक ऐसे मुख्यमंत्री की थी जिन्होंने लंबे समय तक राज्य की सेवा की।

Later, I noticed vendors sitting under umbrellas, shielding themselves from the harsh sun. Tourists often stop by to buy things, while locals casually browse. Most of what they sell is handmade, which makes it all the more interesting.

इसके बाद कुछ ठेले वाले दिखे जो तेज धूप से बचने के लिए छतरियों के नीचे बैठे थे। पर्यटक अक्सर उनसे चीजें खरीदते हैं, और स्थानीय लोग भी उन्हें देखते रहते हैं। उनके पास ज्यादातर हाथ से बनी चीजें होती हैं, जो उन्हें और भी खास बनाती हैं।
