A drizzle, a roof, and a troop🐒 #monomad

Greetings lovely members of the community. I hope you all are doing great and enjoying quality time with your loved ones.

समुदाय के प्यारे सदस्यों को नमस्कार। मुझे आशा है कि आप सभी अच्छे होंगे और अपने प्रियजनों के साथ गुणवत्तापूर्ण समय का आनंद ले रहे है।

People often complain about monkeys jumping onto rooftops, knocking over flower pots, or creating a mess around houses. But when you think about it, a lot of the forests that were once their homes have been cleared for human settlements. As their natural habitat keeps shrinking, it is no surprise that they end up in places where people now live.

अक्सर लोग शिकायत करते हैं कि बंदर छतों पर कूदते-फांदते हैं, गमले गिरा देते हैं और इधर-उधर शरारत करते रहते हैं। लेकिन अगर ध्यान से सोचें, तो उनकी इस हालत के लिए कहीं न कहीं इंसान भी जिम्मेदार हैं। जंगल लगातार कम होते जा रहे हैं और उनके रहने की जगहें खत्म होती जा रही हैं। जब उनका घर ही छिन जाएगा, तो वे आखिर जाएंगे कहाँ?

I spotted this group sitting on a building shortly after a light drizzle. They seemed relaxed, quietly spending time together. When I started taking pictures, a few of them noticed me and looked straight at the phone,as if they were just as curious about me as I was about them.

मैंने इन्हें हल्की बारिश के बाद एक इमारत की छत पर बैठे देखा। ये आपस में आराम से समय बिता रहे थे। जब मैं उनकी तस्वीरें लेने लगा, तो इनमें से कुछ मेरी तरफ देखने लगे, जैसे उन्हें भी मेरी उतनी ही जिज्ञासा हो जितनी मुझे उनके बारे में थी।

In reality, these monkeys usually mind their own business unless someone tries to tease or provoke them. Most of the time, they can be seen sitting on rooftops, wandering around, or simply watching everything from a distance. One thing I find especially cute is the way they walk with their long tails held high. It always looks a little funny and charming at the same time.

वैसे ये बंदर तब तक किसी को परेशान नहीं करते जब तक कोई उन्हें छेड़े या तंग न करे। ज्यादातर समय ये छतों पर बैठे रहते हैं, इधर-उधर घूमते हैं या चुपचाप अपने काम में लगे रहते हैं। मुझे इनकी एक बात बहुत प्यारी लगती है—जब ये चलते हैं तो अपनी लंबी पूंछ ऊपर उठाकर रखते हैं। यह देखने में काफी मजेदार और प्यारा लगता है।
