Movie review: Silent Zone (2025)
Talking about movies that can keep you on your toes and make you feel so elated, I have got one for you, and it is titled Silent Zone. Naturally, I was never planning to watch this movie anytime soon, but when I saw this movie on my system library, I thought it was a Nollywood movie until I played it and I saw that it was a Hollywood movie, then I decided to watch to see if it will really suit what I want. This movie took me back to those days when you watch zombie movies, and you feel like the movie is a realistic one because of how it was done. Naturally, I do not have much belief in zombie existence, but sometimes when I watch it in movies, I wonder how they're formed and if they truly exist on this earth. But that aside, I know they can actually happen, but I am not going in that direction today.
Silent Zone gave me a big and huge nightmare after I was watching and when I was watching. This movie is about a city that has some infected people, but in the city some non-infected people still exist. The film centers on the journey for survival for a very courageous and determined military lady, Abigail, and Cassius, who happens to be her guide and protector. They are to make sure they try their best to survive among lots of infected people, which can be so dangerous when they have no strong support to work with. Abigail's determination and his protector led them a long way. This movie was directed by Peter Deak. He was able to create a lovely story line that is authentic and also full of adventures. Abigail and her protector faced a lot of challenges at every stage, and what they only have to do is make sure they fight their way through and survive from the roaring predators, which are the zombies.
The movie has some amazing cast, which I really love, starting from the main cast and the rest, in the likes of Matt Devere as Cassius, Luca Papp as Abigail, Nikolett Barabas as Megan, Declan Hannigan as David, Alexis Latham as Norton and many other associates. Matt Devere delivers a strong and overwhelming show throughout the movie by making sure that he did all his best to make it very entertaining. Lots of battles were fought, and he won, and this really showed how tough he is. The movies showed some emotional part which I really love and also the courage abilities from nikolett Barabas who was a pregnant woman but was saved when the zombies attacked them. I really enjoy the movie, every scene they got attacked by the zombies.
The cinematography is top-notch, and it was a lovely way. For the day and the nighttime, it was okay, and it was looking so real as if it were in reality. The soundtrack was so amazing, and it gives every moment of suspense a great feel. The movie was shot with a good lens, and I love it so much. The movie has some flash, and it also has some great moments in it, which are;
What I love:
- I love the action moments in the movie.
- The visuals are so immense and lovely.
- The movie really portrays a message of emotion and resilience.
What I don't really like:
- They lied a bit in the movie which was very glaring.
- The movie was not really having depth because the zombies were not really doing like a real zombie at some point
Rating: 7/10
Overall:
Silent Zone is an amazing one, It shows moments of action and a tensed moments. This movie it worth watching because it's an entertaining one and if you want a movie you can watch and not get tired, this is a nice choice for you.
