An entrepreneur who wants to make more sales would not be lazy, am I right about that? Well, I think I am right about that, because no way will you be an entrepreneur who owns a large business or even small, and then you make it look like it's nothing to you. For you to be able to keep this going requires a lot of effort, which I believe only you as the owner of the enterprise can put into the business. An entrepreneur waiting for the workers to help them grow their business will not just end in doom but total loss because some of the people you employ to work for you are not happy with what you have, and all they care about is the salary or the wages you pay them.

I have been to a store where the owner was not around, and then I got to the store thinking that I would be attended to in a very polite manner, but it turned out to be something else. I wondered how many people would have come across this kind of person and what their reactions would have been while they were there. As an employee, only a few people have the interest of the business at heart, and that is because they are either business-oriented or probably they know what it means to have a business.

But on the other side, when the people you employ are people that they have no idea about business, they would rather prefer to ruin your business than to make it grow because they do not care. I sometimes see some entrepreneurs around who traveled for a trip, and they are very buoyant to leave their workers to manage their store for them in their absence. You can only do this when you really know that you can trust these people very well, and trusting them does not really mean you entrust everything to them, but it has to be to some certain levels.

What really prompted me to talk about this was because I met an entrepreneur lady who sells cosmetics and skin care products, but all she does is leave everything to her employees to do for her, and she does not really care about monitoring what they do to see if they are doing it the right way or not. The funny aspect was that she gave a job delegation to one of her staff, and then the person did not do it in the right way, and I was there to witness it, so I had to call her attention to it before she noticed it was something else her worker was doing.

The issue with entrusting all your business to an employee is not just because they won't do it right; some does not really want their employer to go. Even though you have been nice to them, and you give them mostly everything they want, some will still go behind you and try to jeopardize your business, which is not supposed to be so. As an entrepreneur, this is a call to action for everyone to be very careful about who they entrust their entire business to. I know there are some good people out there, but they are very few and amongst this few ones, that's where you will see those with the bad characters too. So one must be very careful not to fall victim to this.

Un empresario que quiere hacer más ventas no sería perezoso, ¿tengo razón en eso? Pues creo que tengo razón en eso, porque de ninguna manera serás un empresario que tiene una empresa grande o incluso pequeña, y luego la haces ver como si no fuera nada para ti. Para que puedas mantener esto en marcha requiere mucho esfuerzo, que creo que solo tu como dueño de la empresa puedes poner en el negocio. Un empresario que espera que los trabajadores le ayuden a hacer crecer su negocio no sólo acabará en la ruina, sino en la pérdida total, porque algunas de las personas que contratas para que trabajen para ti no están contentas con lo que tienes, y lo único que les importa es el sueldo o el salario que les pagas.

He estado en una tienda en la que el dueño no estaba, y entonces llegué a la tienda pensando que me atenderían de forma muy educada, pero resultó ser otra cosa. Me pregunté cuántas personas se habrían encontrado con este tipo de persona y cuáles habrían sido sus reacciones mientras estaban allí. Como empleado, sólo unas pocas personas tienen el interés de la empresa en el corazón, y eso es porque o bien están orientadas a los negocios o probablemente saben lo que significa tener un negocio.

Pero por otro lado, cuando las personas que empleas son personas que no tienen ni idea de negocios, prefieren arruinar tu negocio que hacerlo crecer porque no les importa. A veces veo por ahí a algunos empresarios que se han ido de viaje, y son muy optimistas al dejar que sus trabajadores gestionen la tienda por ellos en su ausencia. Sólo puedes hacer esto cuando sabes realmente que puedes confiar muy bien en esas personas, y confiar en ellas no significa realmente que les confíes todo, pero tiene que ser hasta ciertos niveles.

Lo que realmente me impulsó a hablar de esto fue que conocí a una empresaria que vende cosméticos y productos para el cuidado de la piel, pero lo único que hace es dejar todo en manos de sus empleados para que lo hagan por ella, y realmente no se preocupa de supervisar lo que hacen para ver si lo están haciendo de la manera correcta o no. Lo más gracioso fue que delegó un trabajo a uno de sus empleados, y luego la persona no lo hizo de la manera correcta, y yo estaba allí para presenciarlo, así que tuve que llamarle la atención antes de que se diera cuenta de que era otra cosa lo que estaba haciendo su trabajador.

El problema de confiar todo tu negocio a un empleado no es sólo porque no lo haga bien; algunos no quieren realmente que su jefe se vaya. Aunque hayas sido amable con ellos y les des casi todo lo que quieren, algunos irán detrás de ti e intentarán poner en peligro tu negocio, lo que no debería ser así. Como empresario, esta es una llamada a la acción para que todo el mundo tenga mucho cuidado con a quién confía todo su negocio. Sé que hay gente buena por ahí, pero son muy pocos y entre estos pocos, es donde se verán los de mal carácter también. Así que hay que tener mucho cuidado de no ser víctima de esto.
