Kazira Vaelstrik 🔥 A Powerful Epic Dragon Monster | Splinterlands Review
Hi guys how are you all? Today I’m back again with another Splinterlands monster review. So without wasting any time let’s get started.
The monster I’m going to talk about today is Kazira Vaelstrik.

This monster is an Epic Dragon monster and is mostly used as a ranged damage dealer.

This is a very good card for high mana battles where you have enough mana to build the team you want without worrying too much about the mana cost.
If we talk about its mana cost it costs 10 mana. So it is a little expensive which is why I would normally recommend using it in high mana battles.
It has a Ranged attack which means it can attack from the backline. This makes it a useful damage dealer while your other monsters protect it from the front.
The most interesting thing about this monster is its abilities. It has a total of four abilities.
The first ability is Flying.

Flying gives Kazira a chance to dodge attacks from monsters that don't have the Flying ability. This makes it harder for enemies to hit her.
Flying also makes her very useful in the Earthquake ruleset because Flying monsters can avoid the damage caused by Earthquake. So whenever Earthquake appears this monster can be a very useful addition to your team.
The second ability is Immunity.

Immunity means that the monster is not affected by negative status effects. This is very useful in battles where your monsters can be affected by different negative effects
.
For example in battles with Poison Immunity can make Kazira much more reliable because she can stay safe from the Poison effect.
Now let's talk about her third ability which is Close Range.

Close Range is a very useful ability for this monster because even though Kazira is a ranged attacker she can still attack when she is placed in the first position.
Normally ranged monsters cannot attack from the first position. But because Kazira has Close Range she can continue attacking even when she reaches the frontline.
So if your frontline monster gets defeated Kazira can take its place and still contribute damage to the battle.
Her fourth ability is Last Word.

This ability becomes available at her highest level and gives her protection against Final Rest.
Since Kazira is a ranged attacker you would normally want to keep her away from the frontline. If you place a strong tank in front of her she can stay safe and continue dealing damage from the backline.
There are several reasons why I think this card is really good.

First her Flying ability makes her very useful in certain rulesets especially Earthquake.
Second her Immunity protects her from negative status effects.
Third her Close Range ability allows her to keep attacking even when she reaches the first position.
And finally because she is an Epic Dragon monster she can work very well in Dragon focused strategies along with Dragon summoners and other Dragon monsters.
Of course no card is perfect and Kazira also has some weaknesses.
Her biggest weakness is her 10 mana cost. Because of this using her in low mana battles can be difficult because she takes up a large part of your available mana.
Also because she is a ranged attacker you need to position her carefully. If your frontline gets defeated she will eventually move to the first position. Thankfully her Close Range ability allows her to keep attacking but your overall strategy still needs to be planned carefully.
Overall Kazira Vaelstrik is a very interesting Epic Dragon monster. Her combination of abilities makes her useful in many different situations.
She may not be a card that you use in every battle but in high mana battles and certain special rulesets she can be a very strong choice.
So if you're looking for a Dragon monster that can deal ranged damage while also having strong protection against different battle effects Kazira Vaelstrik is definitely a card worth considering.
So that's it for today's post. I hope you found this review helpful and enjoyed reading it.
I'll see you guys in the next post. Until then
goodbye
