A few more red shots from the walk I did in Fall River
I guess it's at least a couple of weeks ago, maybe more, I joined a group called the Fall River - New Bedford Artist collaborative for a walk starting in North Park in Fall River.
I did enjoy it, even though I did forget to put on Sunscreen and did get a little burnt, but not too bad.
It was interesting meeting up with other photographers and artists. They had a theme for this walk, where we had to close our eyes and select a Crayon, and whatever color we got, the challenge was to find subjects with that color. I will share a few more shots from that walk, and red was my color.
The other thing that I got out of this walk was I realized I had been taking photos mostly of bigger subjects, sunrises, houses, etc., and not looking for smaller cool details, which I used to do more often, so that's something I must work on doing whenever I get out for walks.
Such as this cool little ornament I saw in someone's garden.

or something as simple as X marks the spot

and this lovely colorful flower which I think but could be wrong is a Lily

And another thing I got reminded of on this walk, when I saw this red Door, was how I had a thing when in NYC of looking for what I used to call distinctive doors, and since this walk I have been paying more attention to the doors on buildings and seen some cool ones.

How are you, my dear friend @tattoodjay?
It's great that you've joined this group of artists; you've taken some beautiful photos. The red color is very striking.
Excellent shots.
What a great idea with the crayons. I do miss the old colour challenge contest.
It's only since I go fungi hunting for Hive, that I've started to see the smaller things.
That is a neat idea! Hopefully you were not as red as the rest of your subjects from your sun exposure!
Here is my contribution from the safety of my curation chair! A little red bird feeder where the local birds gather and feed.
Can’t wait to see the theme for your next walk!
Good day, Mr. @tattoodjay, how are you?
This is one of my favorite colors; it's very striking. What you've created with this color is beautiful.
I loved all the photos.
Fun to join a group and get some inspiration. And focusing on small details can also be a source of inspiration. I find myself taking the same shots many, many times. If its a good location, good composition, well a good photo, its hard not to take it again (and again 😆)
