European banks are tightening lending standards. This is grim news for the EU economy.
Expect rates to be hiked in June by the ECB.
Risk aversion is in for the banks. This is a signal, in my view, on the energy shock. There is a lot of economic decay throughout Europe (and perhaps Asia).
People focus upon the central banks (like The Fed) but ignore the banks themselves.

Yeah, the energy crunch is hitting hard—Europe's industrial base is crumbling under those costs. Banks pulling back makes total sense, could drag on any euro recovery. Watching for crypto safe havens to shine here
