Upcoming Release of Conclave Arcana In The Splinterverse
Hello, my lovely friends in the Splinterverse.
I hope that everyone is enjoying the Splinterlands every day. The game is becoming more exciting with the new addition of the recent land expansion, and more excitement has landed on the sphere with the announcement of the new core card edition, the Conclave Arcana, in the coming days. I have been writing about these learning and facts related to Splinterlands since the middle of 2022 in my daily blogging section to enter the weekly community challenge. As my participation in the 'Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Exploring the Upcoming Release of Conclave Arcana!' I am going to talk about the major facts that you should know, along with my thoughts on these, which will be very important for my next move to the Splinterlands in the coming days.
Before my own strategy and thoughts let's learn about the highlights of the large announcement regarding the new card addition in short that will let you know everything that will affect you withing some couple of minutes.
The Conclave Arcana is going to live very soon! It will come out with a total number of 82 cards.
24 common cards
29 rare cards
14 epic cards
15 legendary cards
There will be an extra nine cards during the next Conflicts: three Legendary unit cards and six Legendary archon cards created by players! One rare and one legendary bonus card will only be available during the presale!
- There will be nine brand-new abilities in Conclave Arcana, and each one will change the gaming strategies. These abilities are as the following I am copying from the announcement directly-
Painforge: +1 power when damaged by Poisoned or Burning or hit by an ally.
Reckless: Each successful attack also deals 1 damage to adjacent allied units.
Bloodline Tribute: When defeated, all allied units of the same bloodline gain +1 health, speed, and armor and +1 power to each shared attack type.
Resurgence: Self-resurrects once per battle with 100% health and armor. All magic debuffs are removed, and all magic buffs are reapplied. Skips turn. Deals 1 physical damage to all units.
Shapeshift: Treated as all bloodlines.
Final Rest: Allied and enemy abilities that trigger on defeat cannot activate.
Reveal: Each round applies Revealed to a Camouflaged enemy unit. Revealed units can be targeted by direct attacks.
Relentless Strike: Attacks deal true damage. Phase and Dodge do not reduce chance to hit.**
Bloodline Dominion: You can summon any unit of the same bloodline as this archon, regardless of element.
There will be new kinds of summoners Archons with different Blood Line, which will be irrespective of the Splinter team! The new set has a lot of new family archons that will change the way you play. With the Bloodline Dominion ability, these amazing cards let you call any units that share their bloodline, no matter what element they are, and they also give powerful buffs that are specific to bloodlines.
The most significant changes are going to happen in the different kinds of packs and the new foil system. There will be 4 types of packs: Starter Packs, Standard Packs, Alchemy Packs and Legendary Packs; and 3 types of foils: Gold Foil Arcane, Black Foil, and Black Foil Arcane. I will briefly discuss them in the following section.
Starter Packs: They are made to be easy and cheap for both new and returned players to get started. There is a guaranteed Rare card in every pack, and the other four cards have an 80% chance of being Common and a 20% chance of being Rare. Each pack costs only 1,000 DEC, or $1 in Credits. You won't be able to use potions with the cards in starter packs because they only have Regular Foil Common and Rare cards.
Standard packs: They are the usual packs for 4,000 DEC, which is $4 in Credits. Each pack has five cards from the Conclave Arcana set, with at least one Rare or better card in every pack. 7.5% are common, 20% are rare, 4% are epic, and 0.8% are legendary, and Gold Foil: 2%; Legendary Potions double your chances of getting Epic or Legendary cards, and Alchemy Potions double your chances of getting Gold Foils.
Alchemy Packs: The price of an alchemy pack is 1200 credits or 1200 DEC. They have the same card frequency and Gold Foil spread as regular packs, but they always have one Gold Foil in them. NOTE: If a Black Foil is pulled, it will take the place of the promised Gold Foil.
Legendary Packs: The price of a legendary pack is 24,000 DEC, which is about $24. They have the same card rarity and Gold Foil spread as regular packs, but they always have one Legendary card in them.
There will be the three new Foil called Gold Foil Arcane, Black Foil, and Black Foil Arcane—with new card frames, animations, and unique mint numbers. Get ready for custom card backs, enhanced reveal animations, updated foil icons, and advanced filtering options in the market and your collection.
Black Foils appear randomly in Conclave Arcana packs as max-level cards with collectible numbering. They cannot be combined.
You can use both Black Foil and Black Foil Arcane in lieu of Gold Foil during brawls and tournaments!
For details about these new foils and their odds and perks, you can visit the new card announcement here with further details, and more details will be announced in the coming days.
