The Winter Beauty In The Late Afternoon

Winter is not a great time for outdoor activities for long hours, and so I used to go out for some short walking or cycling sessions when I get some opportunities nowadays. The current weather is warmer, as spring is approaching in the area where I live now. I am enjoying the winter here, with temperatures warming in mid-February, when I am celebrating the Chinese New Year and Spring Festival. The best thing that I can say is that the weather is so clear and clean, and the air quality is amazing nowadays, with so beautiful scenic views without the green color as you can see in these pictures. The views are so clear and stunning in this colorless winter, thanks to the extremely clean air and the deep blue sky as a backdrop.

As a nature lover, I always enjoy exploring this area, as it fills my heart with a pure feeling of taking in clean oxygen and breathing in the soothing beauty. There is no snow in the surrounding area at this moment; it is now dry and covered with dried grasses. The area could be so beautiful if the surrounding natural scenic area were completely covered with white snow with a heavy snowfall.

There is a river known as the QiHe river where I enjoy my walk most of the time and the scenery along the river is so beautiful from the nearby road, where I can see the natural surroundings, a vast area, and the mountains in the northern Beijing area. As winter fades away, spring beauty will be here soon, and the nearby residential area will get a brighter view. The warmer vibe is also seen in the bright sun and comfortable outdoor activities in the area in the late afternoon with the golden color of light. The whole area is so attractive, with its natural beauty, very close to the city life of the Huairou district of the Beijing municipality.
