Sweet treat

More pie at my aunt’s house again! She spoils us a lot, the children and me. Every time we visit her, she never fails to prepare something sweet for us. This time, she treated us to a delicious strawberry and banana pie , a real delight, both fresh and indulgent.

It’s strawberry season, and prices are currently very affordable, so it’s the perfect time to enjoy them! Soon, homemade preparations like jams and ice creams will follow, even more delicious when the fruits are at their best and cheapest.

Bananas, however, are a bit more expensive since they are not locally produced. So we only buy them occasionally, just to add a sweet and exotic touch to our desserts.
