DescriptionBellaria is a seaside resort located on the Adriatic coast of Emilia-Romagna, a region of northern Italy. The municipality's official name today is Bellaria-Igea Marina. It is about 15 km north of Rimini and lies between Rimini and Cesenatico, along the Adriatic coast. Rimini and Cesenatico are two other
Italian seaside resorts that are probably more famous than Bellaria. The municipality of Bellaria (now Bellaria-Igea Marina) was founded in 1956, when the territory separated from the municipality of Rimini. The population of the municipality is approximately 19,000.
In the summer, the population increases significantly thanks to seaside tourism. This is essentially a tourist resort on the Riviera Romagnola, with sandy beaches and shallow waters. These waters are perfect for families who want to keep their children entertained. Bellaria has a canal harbor, a seafront promenade, and numerous hotels. As you might expect, the economy is heavily dependent on summer tourism.
Bellaria is known for its Bellaria Film Festival, an event dedicated to independent Italian cinema, and for the Festival dei Saraceni, a historical reenactment of the 16th century period when Saracen pirate attacks were frequent along the coast.

Below are some of the town's famous figures. Bellaria is the birthplace of famous figures such as footballer Mattia Zaccagni, actor and writer Lorenzo Scarponi, and the unforgettable showgirl Raffaella Carrà (who spent her childhood here and whose family roots were from Romagna, although she was born elsewhere).
In Bellaria-Igea Marina, tourism is the heart of the economy. There are approximately 300–350 hotels, in addition to hundreds of family-run guesthouses, residences, and apartments, and campsites.
Bellaria-Igea Marina is considered one of the areas with the highest density of tourist facilities in Italy relative to its population.
The municipality of Bellaria-Igea Marina has approximately 19,000 inhabitants, but in the high season, i.e., July and August, the town reaches approximately 70,000–90,000 people. It's estimated that in the central weeks of August (August 15th), the daily number of visitors can reach close to 100,000.

Thoughts
Bellaria is a relatively small town, but truly delightful. There are many bars, a beach, and the sea. In short, a little gem of the Riviera Romagnola.

località balneari italiane probabilmente più note di Bellaria.Il comune di Bellaria (oggi Bellaria-Igea Marina) è nato nel 1956, quando il territorio si separò dal comune di Rimini. La Popolazione del comune è di circa 19.000 abitanti.
In estate la popolazione aumenta molto grazie al turismo balneare. Questa è essenzialmente una località turistica della Riviera Romagnola, con spiagge sabbiose e fondali bassi. Fondali perfetti per chi ha una famiglia e vuole far divertire i propri bimbi. Bellaria possiede un porto canale, un lungomare e molte strutture alberghiere. Come è facilmente intuibile, l’economia è fortemente legata al turismo estivo.
Bellaria è nota per il suo Bellaria Film Festival, manifestazione dedicata al cinema indipendente italiano e per il Festival dei Saraceni, rievocazione storica del periodo (XVI sec) in cui erano frequenti gli attacchi dei pirati saraceni lungo la costa.

Qui di seguito alcuni personaggi noti di questo paese. A Bellaria sono nati personaggi come il calciatore Mattia Zaccagni, l'attore e scrittore Lorenzo Scarponi, e l'indimenticabile showgirl Raffaella Carrà (che qui trascorse l'infanzia e le cui radici familiari erano romagnole, sebbene lei sia nata altrove).

Bellaria è una località tutto sommato piccola, ma veramente molto gradevole. Ci sono tanti locali, c’è la spiaggia e c'è il mare. Insomma una piccola perla della Riviera Romagnola.
