Chapulines

Todays post it’s different than what I usually write but i hope you like it 😂. The past few years we are seeing bigger and bigger wars erupting across the globe like the Russo- Ukrainian war that changed everyones sense of security after decates at least in Europe. 2023 was a really sitty year that saw climate change becoming the number one priority in many many countries in my country for example we had the second worst summer in fires and temperatures and before the summer ended we saw one of the worst storms hitting half of the country and flooding 3 of the lagest Greek cities with problems that will take years to be solved. As you can all imagine that wasn’t enough ! 10 days ago the terrorist group known as Hamas made it’s deadliest attack on the Israeli territory prompting the declaration of war by Israel and worsening an already bad situation in a place that is probably the most violent. What that means it means that we each passing day we are closer and closet in an all out war in the middle east that could easily turn out to be a world war. So we all have to be prepared to live woth less food and change the way we know the world and today i really found out how do that will style.

Does anyone know Chapulines?

Chapulines are grasshoppers that are commonly eaten in certain areas of Mexico. Put some lime and some chilly inside and they become like a shrimp carpaccio or use some panko and make them like tempura shrimp so for anyone wanting to be prepared for the worst case scenario read more about that food !

It feels like the world is falling apart with each passing day, I just need a little bit of peace. I thought they were cockroaches at first glance, I wonder how they taste...

Of course, we remember the time when there was a war in Russia and Ukraine, the people living there were suffering a lot, and the people living there now are also suffering. The world should support the countries that are true.

Now, I have not heard about Chapulines. At first sight, I thought it was one of the exotic foods in Thailand. It is nice to know about these grasshoppers in Mexico. Best regards and I hope I can encounter one of these grasshoppers soon my friend.
