Basket of 15 Cryptos as of 08/04/2025

Another week has passed, and we are 1 week closer to wrapping this thang up. The markets this week tanked as per usual. We are starting to get fully wrecked and seeing dumps of 10-20% each and every week is just off, whatever. The silver lining is that dropping 15% now is like $2000 where whereas 4 months ago, 15% was more like $4000. Getting poorer is making us lose less money, haha.

Look at ETH, it got smashed good this week with a decline of 25%, dropping below 2018 peaks. Crazy to think if you bought ETH in Jan 2018, you'd be losing money now. POL and FET has almost disappeared off the charts as they both have been utter disappointments. The other token in our basket this week that never dropped by double digits was BNB as it dropped by 9.3%, haha.

HIVE itself dropped a little more than our basket combined so we see an increase in the XV HIVE book price to 3.49 HIVE each. Not bad but i'd rather HIVE were a $1 and our basket worth $60k to get a book value of 3.49 HIVE but dream on i guess.

The basket gained 2700 HIVE in value this week, which puts us at a HIVE profit of 44,680. If we wrapped up today, we'd buy back 3.5x the amount of HIVE we sold almost 2 years ago. Its a shame we never issued 100k tokens, that would have been amazing, maybe next cycle.

The dollar value of the basket dropped over $2000, which is a massive hit, but there is little we can do about it. Trump is spooking the shit of the markets with his traifs and nobody knows what can happen next. If interest rates are lowered, we will pump, but im not sure this can happen within the next 7 weeks. All in all, we still have just over $5000 in profits so we are still winning.

Round-Up

Another week is gone, and only 7 weeks remain. As I say each week, maybe next week will be better, but at this point, even a 20% pump is nothing, and we'd need multiple pumps just to get back to even.
