Basket of 15 Cryptos as of 15/04/2025

Unbelievable, we are getting so close to the end now with only 6 weeks left. The prices were recorded 2 days ago on Tuesday, so this post is 2 days late. It was not a bad week, all in all. I mean, the value of the basket increased, not by much, but when we consider that the market has been down 10 out of the last 13 weeks, any increase is welcome. We're down around 40% from our peak in December, so we need to increase by 80% to get back there. I'm not sure if that can happen in the next 6 weeks, but I'd probally bet against it. I guess hoping for our basket to hit a new time high is just hope and not important as we're already in profit and just thinking greedy at this point, haha.

XRP is so far out in front it's crazy, and what makes it more impressive is XRP is a second-tier holding for us and started with an allocation of 8.3% while tier 1 cryptos (BTC, ETH, ADA) started with an 11.7% allocation. Another good vs is LTC vs ETH. LTC started with a 6.2% allocation and ETH 11.7%, but today, our LTC stash is worth 10% more than our ETH. MATIC vs LINK is another good one. LINK started with half the allocation, but it's worth more today.

Ever since we stopped rebalancing a few months back, the baskets' allocations are all over the place as it's now survival of the fittest, no more strong positions feeding weak ones and separation. It's interesting to watch.

Small dip in the book value of XV this week. The price of HIVE increased and outperformed our basket, and this results in a lower HIVE value. Its been over 3 months since the book value was under 3 HIVE so if we can hold for another 6 weeks, which I dont see why we would not, we'll all be cashing out a 200% profit, 100% per year. When you see numbers like that, you think SCAM!, but we've been documenting weekly for 2 years 🙂 So.....yeaaa

It's only a scam if I do not hold the assets 😐

As mentioned above, HIVE price went down this week, no biggie as we've been bouncing the 3-3.50 range for the best part of 4 months.

The dollar value increased by $1200, which is good, but I'd like more. It's been all downhill from week 82 on the chart above, it really looks like a popped bubble. The massive runup from week 79 to week 83 when the basket value 3x'd, and then 4 months of fairly straight decline. I mean the basket was worth more 1 year ago compared to today, thats not good during a "bull" year. I laugh nervously as I think, there's still 8 months left (even we we only have 6 more for this project).
