"Why So Serious? | LOL to the moon with PEPE token!
Hello, SPIers. Toaday we look at the PEPE token. It's the newest meme token to hit the crypto space and it's popping like crazy. Cats were 2017, dogs were 2021, and Frogs are the future! Lets hop into it.
We all know that meme tokens can make a killing for investors even when they have no use case or purpose other than to be a meme and pump with the hope the next person will pay more for the FOMO. SPI is typically into time-saved cryptos like BTC and ETH but we broke this rule a few months back when we bought $500 worth of DOGE. Should we break it again?
I decided to look into this because I saw a bunch of people on Discord talking about it and then i seen even more videos on youtube. The only thing I look at when im looking into a meme token is its community and its size. PEPE has a massive community on all of the biggest platforms, youtube shillers, Reddit, tweeter, Telegram and many more I have frogotten about. The fanboy army is strong.
PEPE has no case, no platform, it's not listed on exchanges and looks like a real piece of crap on paper. I toadally get that but.....it has something much better, it has pumpamentals. It has lots of new buyers, lots of people pushing it all over social media and new money coming in.
I went ahead and bought us a tiny small bag of 383.5 million PEPE tokens 3 days back. I spent 0.08 ETH ($148) to get our bag and now we have them. When they hit $1 each, we'll get $380 million and buy all the HIVE. We'll buy all the HIVE and burn it but we'll keep our own HIVE.
Because I have no idea of the actual price per token because it's just 0's its hard to know if it's up or down by eye. I can check and so can you on coingecko by just entering in 3835 and 5 zeros to see the dollar value on its chart page. After 3 days of diamond handing our PEPE, they are worth a toadal of $437 or 0.23 ETH. Nothing wrong with a 195% gain in 3 days. . Should we cash it? Hell NO!! That would be unfrogivable!
LET'S BUY MORE! Like $5k worth, it's prob going to be 10x from here, EASY
Maybe not, maybe we just stick to the small bag because maybe crypto degens are bored during the bear market and pumping whatever for the sake of creating some action within the space.
I predict it'll pump a little bit more, then it will ribbet and drop and then it will go sideways and look dead for 18-24 months. After this I have no idea, it will either continue to be dead and drop to $0 (I mean 0.0000000000000000001) or it will pump like crazy and get a multi-billion marketcap and make us 20-30x on our investment. We're already kermitted with our bag so it's a 2-3 years hold for us.
So there you go, SPI has dumped 150 big ones into PEPE in the hop it will make us a froggin fortune.

Nice find - fingers crossed. I dont touch meme tokens personally, because I cant be bothered keeping constant watch on them, and they can be very boom or bust.
It was actually Ray from Brofund that suggested it to me. He said he had put in $100 for BRO so i upped him and did $150. lol.
They are very boom and bust. Its only a few weeks old so we'll see if it's still popular in 2 years time.

At least you have fun with some money you can afford to lose. It is a pretty decent return just to hold it for 3 days.
Damn right, very lucky indeed.
At least with it being 2x for us, we dont need to worry so much if it drops 20-30% :)
